Most of these will make a bit more power. the only vastly differences are looks and sound and of course price. unless you track race as a job(professional/semi) none of these are so hugely better then one another that a better rider would loose because you had x or y system

This difference is the Jardine is cheaper and a lot more people have them.

Akra - not as many people have it - and you dont need to remap with the akra but the jardine you do.

Both sound great. Depends on what you want it to look like.

Ok, a couple things to say:

1. Bike sounds great

2. This bike is great for both the tall and short (I'm 5'9" and it's a great size for me)

3. What do you all think...I've got an 08 675 w/ a Leo Vince slip on and corresponding tune. A guy at work keeps asking me to do a rolling drag against his 07 Corvette z06 with several aftermarket goodies (~550 rwhp w/ his set up). Think this would even be a challenge up to about 150mph? He has a higher top end for sure, but what do the other 675ers think?

not necessaraly true a corvette zo6 stock with 505hp does about 11.5 @125 and with mods if hes putting 550 to the wheels well man thats pretty serious it should be about low 11 at about 130 miles per how, the daytona should pull about the same numbers, obviously a lower et but around 10 at 130 so i would say it comes down to drivers race from a roll

Well, the results are in from my rolling race against that 08 Z06...I won! He reported that he had just dyno'ed the car the previous weekend and it put 583 to the wheels. We did a roll from about 45mph up to 120mph. I led the entire way but he was definitely gaining on me at 120. I still won by a good 2.5 bike lengths. It was a blast, after the race we scooted around town and he showed me what that Z06 is capable of...that car is NUTS!

thats funny my friends dad has a 550bhp sierra cosworth, i waste him from standing start and rollin race on my daytona 675 an he's raced RX7s with 20b motors in them, an seen as 1000bhp supra's can run over 11 seconds with street tyres on witch is slower than a 675 and the 800bhp 4wd Kismo R34 runs 10.8 which is pritty much the same as a stock 675 i dont see how a 500bhp RX7 would even keep up with a stock 675

Alot of 1000cc bikes get walked on the track, gsxr 750s hang with 1000cc bikes on a straight and destroy them on the track. there so flicky and nimble. aprilia has an awkward feeling and somewhat heavy, ducati does no wrong, but the 848 does not get to much props due to the 1098.
