im using corel painter essentials 4 and moving it below the lines layer removes the color completely until i drag it back again

I had this problem once too! I had to google it and finally found an answer to it! By the way, which type of tablet are you using? Also, you are so awesome at drawing that picture,dont even need to do the basic circles,triangle etc baselines!!! :)

Marimar999- To move the line of the canvas to a new layer (like if you scanned a picture into painter) Hold down Ctrl key and hit the "A" key , The "X" key and the "V"key and it moves the layer off the canvas and starts a new layer with your pencils or scans.
