hey, i tried to put an icon as my background but it wouldn't let me, now my screen says "the layout you have selected cannot be loaded. please select a different layout using the home screen item in settings." don't know what to do to get my regular background back!!!!!!!!!!

I got mine unlocked from at&t the first time around, but they since then have changed their policy on allowing people to unlock their phone for international travel. I bought my code off of ebay. I can give you the guy's ebay username, because each imei number is specific for the phone and therefore every activation code is different.

if you wanted wallpapers from tzones you'd probably have to download them yourself and not from tzones because tmo doesn't support this phone.

Because I'm getting the BlackJack 2 unlocked for T-Mobile and I know I'm going to have to edit the settings because I did it for my MotoRAZR and MotoSLVR from Cingular. So I was just wondering if these settings also work on the BlackJack 2??

I think it will as far as the card wheel, seen a few posts about it, I'd read more about it before you brick your phone.

since you're just getting the regular blackjack II, then it'll be easy for the settings, message me whenever you get it an i'll help u set it up.

I was wondering something else, will AIM and MSN and all that connect with T-Mobile and use Texts only? I don't have internet will it connect and work with texts or not?

there's something called OZ IM client, IT DOES NOT work with this phone because this isn't a tmo supported phone. I spoke with reps and they said that I would have to purchase the 19.99 web package that allows you to download emails from gmail, etc. The reason: because the OZ IM client isn't tied thru their networks, and the phone isn't supported. If it was supported like the dash or w/e, then it would be within their networks cuz OZ still has to access AOL's database to get your info.

If i were to purchase this phone without a contract, and took the 3G sim card from my Cingular/Att cell phone and inserted it into the Blackjack, would it function without and extra fees/activations etc?

it would function, as long as you get it unlocked your fine. If you have the att/cingular then I believe you don't need to unlock it because it automatically recognizes the sim card. I have the text and data on mine but that is extra. Short answer is no you wouldn't get charged extra. The only thing extra is iexplorer and texting.
