I'm poole and i ship out in march. I just graduated from high school. I also play the trumpet I was 5th chair symphonic band my senior year. I'm didn't choose band as one of my options but i think i want to try and see if i can make it. The only problem is that i my private lesson teacher at the time was telling me i need to change my ambisher so i can get more range and endurance and better tone in the upper range (5th line f# and up) do you think i have a chance of making it.

The drumline is SICK....the snares were "piss clean"...as a high school snare, and tenor player during 1995 to 1999, our line won many awards, but this is by far the best snare group I've seen....

I wish my schools band had pride like these guys do. Everyone in my band thinks that they are individually the best at what ever instrument they play, and don't have pride in the band as a whole. They believe that because they are in the band that they are cool and just complain when they have to actually play. Being in the jazz band with them (trapped behind the piano) I want to strangle most of them when they start bitchin. If they were only half like these guys, they would be ok.

If so, then you would have to download it with one of those youtube downloader sites (i dont know of any off the top of my head) or you can use an application called real player which allows you to download video from any site and convert it to a number of different file types (its also free). I personally use realplayer so i dont risk going to a virus site to download youtube videos.

The styles of Modern High School Corpstyle Marching bands comes from the orginators of the Military Marching Bands. Sousa is a March. A song from John Phillip Sousa which is a March Song. Nevertheless, high school bands mimick that tradition to this day. If you ask your High School Band Director, he would say that High School Bands are Para-Military Units that offers Corpstyle, visuals, showmanship to capture the attention of their audience. However; the Marine Corp are the originators of this.
