  • I swear bush should be in prison

  • Hello the human race, so it is in this place that you express yourself in a kind of communicative networks, but know that all this demonstrates that you become weak and they will invade your planet, or is that, back on earth land to pick the right of this race and invade your case. Get ready, we will return soon :¬ToTyzuNFI¬² ... this is a code in which we can contact you

  • You're the most uneducated stupid fuck on You Tube. You don't know a thing about history. So go fuck yourself twit.

  • Also,a lot of Cajuns came from Canada when the French lost the French and Indian War, known in Europe as the Seven Years war.

There is no black and white issue. It's a POOR people issue.Brad Pitt is the only celebrity that is trying to help rebuild. Sean Penn came down and helped recover some of the bodies. It was heart breaking to see boated black and white people floating in the water. One white man had his face and half his arm eaten off by alligators. We need help down here more than Haiti.

  • Cajuns from cananady, the french what? that has nothing to do with it? Black white? what I have read these comments and your historical referensing is pothetic.. You are the biggest moron I have ever seen. Black white black white, thats all you talk about..

  • if you can't help your own, who can you help? Talk is cheap, where was the help when your people needed it more? Even Canada sent help south while your government stood by the sidelines doing nothing, you should hold the accountable for the hardships they added to. Speaches mean nothing when you have no home, no food , no community, no support of your government that you elected. Our hearts and feelings are with you as you deserved better, you deserved better. I wish you all the best.

  • Expect the same reaction when the big earthquake hits California in the next few years. Remember, I called it.

  • It's not about black or white. It's about the POOR. Anyone who thinks differently is sadly misinformed. People don't understand Louisiana at all. It's really 2 states in one. The Ango-Saxons in the north and the Cajuns (French/Spanish/Native Americans) in the south. Look at Spike Lee's documentary When the Levees Broke and you'll see a lot of white people in it. All the 1,800 who died were Cajuns. Cajuns are also Democrats. Bush & his cronies should be tried for this horrible crime. Fuck Him.

  • In Canada we don't seperate, we help where help is needed equally. We are a nation of giversm to help the helpless. If this would have occured in Canada we would have every resource there in 24hrs and every single canadian would given whatever they could to help. Your goverment has failed you, sadly they have failed you. They had the ability to help you at your worst time but they ignored you. Your were agnored by the same people you voted with your trust to run your country and they failed you,

  • I never voted for the Bush idiots responsible for this disaster. They should be tried for treason. I just saw a commercial with him asking to help Haiti when our State is still devestated. It pisses me off so much. We got hit by 3 major hurricanes in 4 years. I have no doubt Canada would not have let this happen. You have universal heathcare. You take care of your people. The rich over here don't give a damn about the poor and they claim to be Christians. They don't know what Christianity means.

  • Agreed. In Canada we look at the country as our family and when they are need or in disaster we step in to help. We simply don't have that division of rich and poor in a Canada. We all contribute to help each other, incuding the homeless the sick and the needy. Your nation is judged on how it treats it weekest people, we care for our weekest people, your nation sadly put money ahead of people. We speak th same language and look the same but we are very different, very different.

  • You are so fucking stupid where you from?

  • put it like this with out funds we cant do shit bush knew wat was goin on and like most white men they was lookin at this as fuck the black and the hurricane will get rid of most of us blacks.... louisiana i love u fuck our hatas''... and fuck every man who doubt us and fuck the white whites who call us names and want us dead.. fuck em we livin cause God wanted us to some died but we made it through the waters and we goin live 4 ever.... louisiana louisiana thank God almight 4 louisiana

  • what the hell does katrina have to do with racecism i was part of this storm my granmother died right in front of me during this!!!!!!!!! rosey10880 you have to understand its not about color. And we didnt even have water for atleast 3 weeks

  • And I wanted add that obama isn't forced to help the blacks in his own hometown because like ray nagin and most black men they are allowed to be irresponsible and not help their own. All media outlets are totally silent in questioning why isn't obama helping the kids of chicago. Dam shame.

  • Wait a minute. Just because Obama is the president does not mean that he needs to editorialize every single situation involving blacks-even in his own hometown. No one expected Bush to comment on criminal behavior in Texas or Clinton, so why should his skin cause you to hold him to a different standard. That's racist in itself. This "helping your own" crap is what keeps blacks from reaching out independently. You don't sit and wait for someone to help you, do it yourself.

  • No yes he should respond to the situation in his own hometown to at least let the people who voted for him know that he will look out for them And i don't mean look out for them in a monetarily sense either. Black people did not put him in office to ignore them. And as the commander in chief he needs to honor the commitments he made to his voters. And bush and clinton were not cowards unlike obama who does not stand for anything.

  • The primary blame goes to Ray Nagin ,mayor of one of the most corrupt cities in the US.Nagin is too blame -then Blanco -then Bush and the FEMA idiots.NOLA has acorrupt city government and police force-they were the ones who should be blamed - but the liberals love to play the race card and blame others.

  • Bush shares a lot too, Nagin no doubt was incomptent, so was the state democrats, but Bush should have realized the urgency of the situation, did whatever it took, he did it with Iraq, Katrina marked the earliest beginning of the lame duck presidency in U.S. history, how can we worry about Iraq when our own brothers and sisters are suffering worse fates in water than bombs in iraq, it took damn near 5 days for the feds to get there, the standard is 48 hours, Obama would have made sure, I know

  • 5 days is way,way too long I totally agree with that.

  • I agree mayor ray nagin is the only one too be blamed but unfortunattely here in america black men are never held accountable for his own mistakes. I mean if president bush was supposed to monitor every single city, state, and town then what was the point of having local elected officials? I also find it funny how noone is saying why don't obama help those hoodlums in chicago his own hometown. It's because obama is black.

  • ok....lets not blame bush for this horrible accident...really there is no one to blame. First of all i helped several victims so i know that it is sad. But everyone had a chance to leave..why did some insist on staying? this isnt bush's fault..its no ones. everyone wants to say that they are poor.. not well educated...living in poverty ect. but the one thing people dont realize is yes,, that may be how you are living now... but ony YOU can make the decision to how YOUR future will be. God Bless

  • I live in new orleans. and yes there are alot of gangs and alot of violence.

but the culture of my city and the people in it are all americans. and all of them have earned their right to live as they all earn the materials and love to live.

You say things like this because you were not there. you did not see some of the things we had to see and go through.

  • Wow. I cannot believe I just read what I think I did below. You are a pathetic excuse for an American. It wasn't a "nigga" city, it was an AMERICAN city. Thousands of blacks and whites were effected from this. I am ashamed of people like you!

  • Whats a Republican? Oh yeah - I remember them. Being a loser is bad enough, but having to drag everyone else down with your losing politics, cultural constipation, ignorance, racismm, division and self-loathing gayness is sad. Go bend over for your doughboy, Rush.

  • As a 13 year old boy i will never forget the pain and heart break from katrina.

We lost everything, seen friends die. seen people so desperate for food that they killed.

The hate i seen in some men's eyes and fear that i seen in some kid's face's. i will never forget katrina, i lost everything, friends, family and everything we ever owned. I lost my home, and my hometown, my friends...my heart goes out to all the other katrina victims, i know how it was.

  • No entiendo como chucha eligieron a este CONCHESUMADRE de bush de nuevo en la últimas elecciones.Menos mal que no va a una reelección.I hope you understand Spanish.

  • fuck bush. fucking moron. his government did NOTHING to help the cause in NOLA

  • Have you been to New Orleans? I was told not to go beyond the French Quarters at night. I asked and decided to find out why. When I walked down the street at night, the other side of the signal was completely dark like the abyss. It was terribly eerie. I never felt safe in the city. New Orleans needs a cleansing or will remain the toilet bowl that it is today. I love the music and rich music culture of the city but that's about it.

  • I like this, but I can't stand Bush's voice. Perhaps just titles would be better and more powerful

  • Based on some of the comments and complete disregard for the disgrace that was our gov't during a crisis that wasn't tied to oil, I now know how Bush got in twice. There are more important things in life than watching speeding cars go around in a circle while drinking beer and if you were among those who were abandoned by your own government in a time of desperate need, I'm guessing your opinions would be a bit different.

  • This video is a joke. Why aren't the people who left New Orleans after Katrina, returning to rebuild their homes? Because they are waiting for the Government to do it for them. Why aren't we seeing video of Mississippi which was destroyed much more than New Orleans? The answer: Because the homes in Mississippi were owned by white people and who cares about them? Do you think the people that built this country depended or wanted help from the government?

  • mik - you have a point. probably because the images coming out of NOLA were more impactful? And many people have gone back to rebuild. Its easy to criticize when your tripping over mentholated icelandic bands...

  • Mead, I spent two weeks last spring in Beaumont, Texas rebuilding homes that were destroyed by Rita. Your video of an inauguration speach is incidental, this speech is seven months before Katrina hit. Btw, how many people do you think, derail the US Government but don't lend a single finger to rebuild their own property or help others? I am suggesting that it is up to the people to rebuild, all of us, not the government. Ask not what the government can do for you...

  • Mik - hats of to you. i agree. after Kat happened I rewatched the Inauguration speech and could only think of how hollow it rang, though. BTW - thanks also for quoting Khalil Gibran, who my great grandfather bought over to the US whose poetry was paraphrased by Kennedy...

  • The Bush Dictatorship is going to be over. The whole world HATES America because of him..just trying going overseas .. Thanks a lot Bushy, "youre doing a heck of a job, Bushie" YOU F****** GO TO HELL !! (and YOU WILL !!!)

  • @mikdfour their leaving this shi$ hole of a country, when your not welcomed LEAVE! Soon China will own it anyway and everybody will be speaking CHINESE. Huanying!

  • Nice music who is the artist.

  • Brian Eno.

  • Thanks

  • anyone with a brain left N.O. several days before...

  • that is the point i was trying to make!!! i am sorry for those people...but it isnt like the hurricane just showed up and there were places made for the victims.

  • this was annoying. i hate the guy too, but the point of this video is too elusive.

  • y do ppl who live in a bowl, wont leave when a storms comes??

  • Bush is GUILTY of Crimes Against Humanity. PEACE

  • i hope bush will b impeaced, he aint doing shit 4 da us

  • your video communicates a sense of the psychological state of many americans. i like the fact that the music is predominent b/c it illustrates that feeling of having to bring yourself to another place mentally in order to cope when someone is standing there spewing lies, insults, and nonsense! Monsters.

  • you guys are forgetting the fundamental point here, by pushing the fact that everyone was helpless and begging for government, you will give them a reason to impose martial law the next time a major event happens

  • fuck you up

  • I think it's a good effort, but I would just pull the most pertinent phrases and place them opposite the lyrics, or bury the music a little more. Think symmetrically.

  • interesting how all of the world's problems can be blamed on one man with simple editing techniques.

  • Yes!!! we know it's not his fault!!! He is just an irresponsable puppet for darker interests of power. I wish Cheney, or Rumsfeld (or even Bush Snr.) were also in the video so we can blame them for so many things... (and we wouldn't need editing techniques, you just have to read the news).

  • Thank you

He needs to be held accountable for his treatment of those that do not support his dictatorship.
