am prity sure that could be bad pixelation? and tbh the anggle of the ut compaired to the angle the boomerang hits it does seems way off. its probably fake but loosk impressive the first time you view it
i think it could still be a possibility tho i agree it might be staged...apple isnt that thick. sharpen the wood and the wieght and speed would slice it!

and a boomerang can definitely cut an apple, i have an aboriginal one that i used to use till it gave me a scar across my hand

The boomerang hits the apple and then deflects. The mass of his head helps deflect it.

Boomerangs are a safe catching sport , not a cutting weapon. This is a staged precut apple .Toothpicks can be seen sticking up after the strike .
