Hey, I know this is 10 months later but I wanted to leave you a message anyway. Im also just starting nursing now and I have been in the same boat as you before. God has a plan for you, me and everyone no matter what anybody tells you. In his eyes everybody is beautiful and has a purpose, so keep going forward, keep your head up high, dont look left or right and dont listen to people who try and distract you from your goal/dream. Im standing with you!! Life is beautiful-dont let it get you down
you're beautiful, smart, &don't let things get to you!! who the hell do they think they are telling you you shouldn't be a nurse?! they shouldn't be working at your school if they're ADVISING you to do something other than your dream. and yes, you're going to be an AWESOME nurse!! so keep your head held high girl! my major was in teaching, and I work in a daycare. I've been told SEVERAL times I shouldn't be a teacher. Now they tell me I shouldn't be a nurse. I HAVE my heart set on nursing. <3 ya
Hey Girlfriend, I've seen that things have changed for you a bit. I hope you are in a happier place for yourself. I think you're in a school close to mine, CCC. Anyhow, I wish you nothing but the best, and hold on to your dreams. Remember, only you can throw them away ... no one else can. Keep on moving forward - baby steps.
about the section where you say that everything you do is a disappointment to people, don't do it for other people, do things for yourself. (I know easier said that done). But i believe that you will make a wonderful nurse!
but from experience here.... placement is so tiring and very busy, and being that im in a relapse, and your doing what your doing i can promise you will get tired and worn out quickly so please take care of yourself!!!!! xxxxxxx
im also in nusring school on my first "clinical" (im in my third week). we call it placement here in good ole uk lol. Im in the same position as you and ive been told the same things. i have found that the care i have for other people is so much more than for me and you know what it doesnt matter... the point is hun, you have the care for them and thats what gets you through and doing your job! dont let them tell you anything otherwise k, just believe in yourself.
Thank you for sharing...I am sooooo nervous :((
