it kinda pisses me off how they kept this a secret i spent 400$ on an 80GB ps3...if i waited 2 weeks i could have spent that same amount on a 160 GB model with a game...or go t this fuckin 120GB thing for 300$

Eh... this was not a secret dude. Sorry to tell you this but there were too strong winds on the scene about the PS3 Slim for this to be a "secret"... the whole summer was a whirlwind of rumors about a Slim. and specially after E3... always google first

Well, who said it was a hoax? Sony has a history of releasing slims.. why would someone think this one would be a hoax? man. I feel sorry for you but the good thing is that you could afford a ps3 and should be happy for it. it is really an awesome system and there´s some GREAT games coming for it... enjoy it.
