This looks like a fun game... but its still no where near the sands of time trilogy.

one reason i wouldn't play this game is that its gonna keep reminding me of the SOT trilogy. i'm a huge fan of the POP sands of time trilogy. the game play in this game is kind of impossible apart from the SOT trilogy where every move was possible in real life.i would play this game but rather play one of the POP games from the SOT trilogy again. especially warrior within, which i finished like 5 times.

i bought this cause im a huge fan of P.O.P (mainly the 2nd one) i played for about 20 mins and i wanted to rip my eyes out. im pretty sure they made this game and realized it was a piece of shit so they just renamed it to Prince Of Persia 4 cause no one would ever buy it otherwise. graphics are childish, story has nothing to do with the previous others, the prince is not the same guy, story is horrible, voice overs are horrible, overall worst game ive played in a long time.

Nothing wrong. Its painfully repetitive. That's all. But that's because its made by crappy Ubisoft Montreal. Its no longer like the Ubisoft we knew which made great games like Sands Of Time, Warrior Within, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Tom Clancy Ghost Recon, Far Cry 1, Beyond Good And Evil etc.

Dude, this game looks way too easy they lost some intensity from Warrior Within i hoped they could have brought back and why would they make it easier to run up walls and climb if you had much trouble beyond the first 15 minutes you don't have any skills at all, I still haven't played but i hope its not the assassins creed controls because while the battles got intense the scaling was boring after like an hour

no, combat is the weakest part. you fight 1 on 1 and the fighting is very limiting.

Play the game for the story. The story is really good and Elika is the best NPC ever! If you want a romantic fairytale for casual gamers, then this is a great game. If you want an action game like devil may cry or ninja gaiden, skip it.

I'm sorry but there's more replay value in Russian Roulette.

Looks like it'll be a fun game, though I am disappointed that it's strayed so far away from the original Prince of Persia trilogies. Watching the combat scenes doesnt make me feel like you can do very acrobatic moves like in SOT, WW, & TT (But maybe Ill just have to test it out when I get it.) I certainly dont think having Elika there is going to make me feel cool, I would prefer to have my sand powers back then just be brought back to life so easily.

They say it's going to be non-linear. I guess that means that you still cannot influence the storyline in any way but you can choose the order in which you complete levels. How innovative.

Sarcasm aside, I like the duel idea. But I hope that won't be the only type of combat. The scenes where you dodged multiple adversaries at once while kicking their ass was just as cool. Can't say much about Elika. She seems there only to prevent frustration from dieing because of failed acrobatics.
