@NaTuRaLxFrag If they ask you to work there then that is a plus and makes applying easier for you, since you get a passcode to enter online. It does not guarantee getting the job. By an associate asking you, you can already have the confidence going into the interview that you have a look that store wants to represent them.
for the model (sales rep) position, the interview is unbelievably easy. it really doesn't even matter how you answer the questions as long as you aren't a total dumbass. if you're considered good looking, you'll get it. and yes, asians work there.

@wynrick1 It has been 5 days since the interview, i havent gotten the call yet, and i know i did a real good job and there shouldnt be any reason why i shouldnt get hired, but they did say they will call within 2 weeks. when 2 weeks come i will call back and check my status, but as for now it seems like they are not gonna hire me for watever reason they think.

It is important because if you have two ppl from similar backgrounds then theres only gonna be one way to view a situation, but its always better when there are different opinions and different ways to approach situations. So in a diverse work field there would be various different ideas and thoughts.

I just hired for their Impact position and when i went to the interview i reported 2 da store first and then most likely ull wait a good 10-15 mins even if u are on time but dats depending on how cordial da interviewer is but ull most likely go off sumwhere in da mall like da food court or if da stores not in da mall ull stay in da store but overall be yourself and dress accordingly but nothing 2 over the top and show ur personality make the interviewer remember u and ur good as in...good luck!
just go to abercrombie and tell them you have an interview and theyll tell you where to go :) arrive early like 3;30 you may have to fill out some paperwork
By the time you get the interview the store already has a good idea whether you not you're going to get hired. The interview itself is not something to fret over.

Hmm, I was in their store a while ago with my girlfriend and her friends and they asked me if I wanted a job their, and the manager told me to put the in store model under the application...I never got called back and I wonder maybe I should not have worn a dress up shirt and pants and shoes lol
All of the manager positions requires a bachelor degree. It's implied if you're an assistant manager and been with the company for a number of years, you might get promoted. The managers sees it as a temporary job and would eventually quit after a year or two.

When I was working at Hollister, my manager did not know the reason of why we couldn't wear black but he mentioned that he thinks it's because the color black is depressing.
You can wear makeup but it has to look natural because it is suppose to enhance your features. My managers were always "less is more" when it comes to makeup. You can only wear nail polish in only the shades of red or pink ON YOUR TOES but you can't have any nail polish on your finger nails or french tips, etc. NO eyeliner
i ve been working at hollister for like @ years nowand they said hollister is a surf/skater store but to make it different and keep it not gothic. so they do not wear black and they also do not even sell anything black. the only thing that is close is the darkest navy blue and our darkest gray. is the closest color that we have.
their no certain way to get hired it wether u got it or your dont, i walked into an af store in sacramento, and the store manager asked me if i were intrested in working their, And of coase i was , but i turned it down cuz their only partime and i live about 45 min from sac. *Tear*
yea they only do part time but if you stay their awhile you can become a mangaer. the one thing that sucks though is that they give you 4 to 5 hrs if your impact and you get 6 to 7 if your a model. impact is more fun but model gets more hours so if you like being in a room by your self for like 3 hrs and your just about the people then model is for you. Impact you do alot more.
this company is awful in so many ways. discrimates women, is racist, sexist..... and pictures boys and guys like sex toys.... hey !! i love sex shops don't get me wrong but... everything at the right time & place in the right measure... A&F sucks ! and is ridiculously expensive.... if you buy there... you probably have a great deal of cash or a lack of brain cells :D
all i did to get hired was i walked it butt naked and just started posing on the register counter....after half an hour with the manager alone in the back i was hired

It won't matter because no matter how stupid, what kind of degree you got, what you did in school, we really don't care about that. It is in the least of our concerns to care what you did in high school. Don't think you will have a chance when you answer the diversity question because chances are our minds are made up before you even opened your mouth. If you're good looking then you work here, plain and simple.
No, it's probably because black is a colour that helps people look skinny, and this is the type of thing they don't like, like wearing makeup to make yourself look more presentable, they don't want that. They want the natural look. :)

I just hired for their Impact position and when i went to the interview i reported 2 da store first and then most likely ull wait a good 10-15 mins even if u are on time but dats depending on how cordial da interviewer is but ull most likely go off sumwhere in da mall like da food court or if da stores not in da mall ull stay in da store but overall be yourself and dress accordingly but nothing 2 over the top and show ur personality make the interviewer remember u and ur good as in...good luck!

When I went in for the interview (I originally applied for Impact), and as I awaited,there was a model and manager standing next to each other; I hear a "Hey" and I turned around. The Model said, "She (as in the manager) said you already have the job!" I thought to myself, "Wow,Cool!..but..She's obviously joking...". Well...she wasn't..and I got the call maybe two days later?? And...I was working as a "Model" instead of Impact...

All of the manager positions requires a bachelor degree. It's implied if you're an assistant manager and been with the company for a number of years, you might get promoted. The managers sees it as a temporary job and would eventually quit after a year or two.

When I was working at Hollister, my manager did not know the reason of why we couldn't wear black but he mentioned that he thinks it's because the color black is depressing.
You can wear makeup but it has to look natural because it is suppose to enhance your features. My managers were always "less is more" when it comes to makeup. You can only wear nail polish in only the shades of red or pink ON YOUR TOES but you can't have any nail polish on your finger nails or french tips, etc. NO eyeliner

i ve been working at hollister for like @ years nowand they said hollister is a surf/skater store but to make it different and keep it not gothic. so they do not wear black and they also do not even sell anything black. the only thing that is close is the darkest navy blue and our darkest gray. is the closest color that we have.

yea they only do part time but if you stay their awhile you can become a mangaer. the one thing that sucks though is that they give you 4 to 5 hrs if your impact and you get 6 to 7 if your a model. impact is more fun but model gets more hours so if you like being in a room by your self for like 3 hrs and your just about the people then model is for you. Impact you do alot more.

No, it's probably because black is a colour that helps people look skinny, and this is the type of thing they don't like, like wearing makeup to make yourself look more presentable, they don't want that. They want the natural look. :)
