I heard the song, found this AMV, looked up the movie, watched the movie, read the books, bought the books and am now waiting for the third film to come out. :D Don't you LOVE how that stuff happens? Honestly, a BEAUTIFUL AMV, as I wrote, it introduced me to the Vampire Hunter D franchise which I am in LOVE with, and I thank you greatly for that. :D It's such a shame the series has not progresses past a cult classic. There is talk of an anime series based off of the books being in preproduction.
@TheMysteriousAtheist Since Hideyuki Kikuchi wrote about it in the back of volumes seven and eight, which are parts one and two of the "Mysterious Journey to the North Sea" story arc :D. I've no idea as to when it will come out though. An anime adaption of the series is underway though, as is a Japanese live-action. You can look it up on the net, if you wish, there is some info about it.
you need to watch this awsome movie on youtube, its so good. Make sure you got tissues if your a girl. You'll need them its a sad story but =SO= good.
This is by Groove Coverage I got it off of a web page I am sure that it is by her due that I went to over 6 web pages and E-rotic have a much high pitch voice then Groove Coverage.
There are so many sub-par versions of this song. Itunes has about 30 different versions, none of which are as good as this one. It makes me angry at the world. D:<
The original was done by Mike Oldfield and Maggie Reilly in May 1983... that's a good 26 years ago. I would know; I have that album on original 12-inch vinyl.
It is indeed. I have volumes two and three right now, and the back of the third actually says "the novel that inspired the hit movie: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust" *sigh* Amazing! Can D just be real already? :D
Oh my, it seems like this amv is originaly made by Ocelot. Im only guessing, but he did post it 2 years before you... If that's the case I'm taking my comment back...
beautiful vid. the only part that seems out of place is the part with the women riding on that bike. and firing with a rocket launcher. aside from that the vid is perfect, good combo with the song. And extra points for being one of the first ever AMV's.
I believe that the rocket was yet another allusion to "see you in heaven one day". But I'm not entirely sure. It's been gods... probably over 10 years since I've seen a Vampire Hunter D film.
Oh, man... I remember this from... well, from whenever it was made, I guess. Before AMVs were everywhere, at least. It's still one of the best out there.
I remembered downloading this from your site a few years back. In fact, I'm very sure if I looked, it should still be on my hard drive. This AMV is one of my favorites. Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust is one of my favorite anime movies. And I like the song.
Same here, in fact this was one of the first AMV's I'd ever seen. My brother showed it to me so this one has always had a special place in my heart, especially since Vapire Hunter D was the first real anime I'd seen that wasn't Pokemon, Digimon or Yu-Gi-Oh.
Yes... yes... YES! Words can't even express a fraction of what this video means to me. The music... the video... "inspriational" is all that comes to mind.
This is one of the most amazing AMVs I've ever seen. At first I thought the song was made for the anime. I'm with basically everyone on being along time fan, it's awesome to see you on YouTube!
actually, the artist is Missing Heart. They did a (New Vocal Version) by the same artist. But featured the female voice from E-ROTIC a german dance group.
I've loved your stuff for years. If you remember you actually made me a Trigun video to the song Beer For My Horses. I wish I still had it, but my computer crashed about a year ago and I lost it. I still love your stuff though. Your Gungrave videos are amazing!
I've been watching your stuff's ever since a while back when it got opened and I must say this is one of the best AMV there was, although, where are the other ones? XD
saw the anime, played the game, watched this amv...i still LOVE it *-*

I didn't think this pop song would mesh well with VHD. After watching the video I take that back. The lyrics match the on screen action perfectably.
