Hey, I was wondering. I walk a mile and a half to and from school. When going to school I walk up a nice size hill, and then down a small one to go to my school building. Then when leaving I climb the small one and go down the large one. How much weight can I be loosing from these walks everyday?

Never heard of it gotta try it out, I usually do more than 60% of weight in Bells or should I say machines at Bally.... and you know what is funny when I feel tired or about to strain in an excercise I rest than go back for 2-3 more reps and ironically than I'm even more pumped afterword than I cant stop sweating and I have trouble sleeping.... : /
@CruiisPhelon Carb-cycling is a strict diet , used by bodybuilders and fitness models to lower their bodyfat %. one of the common ways to do it is like what scooby said 3 days (where you consume low carb intake 30-25% of your total maintenance calories -500) the 4th day is a refeed day where you eat at maintenance (the calories u need to maintain your current weight) with 50% of your calories on that day coming from carbs.

Keep in mind people that this is not a long term diet, is just for that extra push and is a 4 day cycle. This is NOT Atkins diet either, which "promises" a leaner and "healthier lifestyle" Atkins is also meant for short term. Just follow scooby's tips but don't misunderstand. Well just trying to help. Hey guys I just started on his new carb cycling diet and i was wondering what you guys put your flax seed in, I tried it on broccoli, and i soon found out never to do that again! Scooby, thanks for the great info and inspiration. I am with you on the importance of eating natural, unprocessed foods and training with intensity. However, I would be interested in hearing your takes on both Paleo/Low-Carb diets, and HIT or Abbreviated Training, where isolation movements are eschewed for brief (30-60 min) workouts consisting of mult-joint movements done to failure 2-3 times a week. Examples of the latter would be Stuart McRobert and Clarence Bass. Thanks again.

WTF!? fat gets burned when your body consumes most of its carbohydrates and requires more nergy for the current activity so fat gets absorbed into your blood stream and gets used as energy ( that is the purpose of fat, extra energy reserves )
i really want to try this carb cycling but i have no idea how to tell how many carbs i'm buring a day. I do a 2 mile run, and light lifting every evening. is there any way i can figure this out without having to go the store and purchase something?
@ragnorock15 just keep doing cardio man, and get a skin fold caliper, i measures how much bodyfat you have on your body. I got mine for 10 dollars. By keeping track of your weight once a week and your body fat once a week, you will be able to track down how much fat you are losing, but KEEP DOING CARDIO. Results will eventually come.
once again, you make losing weight so much more convenient for everyone! you need to be advertised or have your own tv show! i'm gonna advertise your site and and links on facebook for my "lazy but wanting to lose weight" friends!

Scooby, thanks for the great info and inspiration. I am with you on the importance of eating natural, unprocessed foods and training with intensity. However, I would be interested in hearing your takes on both Paleo/Low-Carb diets, and HIT or Abbreviated Training, where isolation movements are eschewed for brief (30-60 min) workouts consisting of mult-joint movements done to failure 2-3 times a week. Examples of the latter would be Stuart McRobert and Clarence Bass. Thanks again.

are you trolling or did you just get really really bad information ? what you said does NOT work and lactic acid burning fat ? WTF!? fat gets burned when your body consumes most of its carbohydrates and requires more nergy for the current activity so fat gets absorbed into your blood stream and gets used as energy ( that is the purpose of fat, extra energy reserves )

i really want to try this carb cycling but i have no idea how to tell how many carbs i'm buring a day. I do a 2 mile run, and light lifting every evening. is there any way i can figure this out without having to go the store and purchase something?

@ragnorock15 just keep doing cardio man, and get a skin fold caliper, i measures how much bodyfat you have on your body. I got mine for 10 dollars. By keeping track of your weight once a week and your body fat once a week, you will be able to track down how much fat you are losing, but KEEP DOING CARDIO. Results will eventually come.
