snag the respective standing stone before you grind a stat, for crafting the mage stone applies to enchant & warrior applies to smith..so before you do a bunch of (dis)enchanting or smithing fast-travel & snag the respective stone, you can get well rested by crashing in an owned bed to boot & you'll be done in a 3rd of the time, helpful for 3rd, 4th playthroughs.

to noobs remember to take it in chunks, you need comparable combat skills as you level, & its 1000 times funner to move up the ranks

also for soul gems u can go to dawnstar and use the hidden shop inventory chest (the inventory is the khajiit caravan) and it has soulgems in it, about 750 gold and loads of potions and enchanted items .... enjoy!

look... azura's star is the best way because every time you recharge a weapon it will give you skill so slap a soul trap on a weapon kill someone with it, recharge it, do it again. its not difficult. p.s. although buying soul gems is expensive when you enchant something the intem becomes super valuable if you put on the right enchanments.

Hey a good way to get soul gems is to buy a house im Windhelm (you can use the free house glitch) and then buy the enchanting lab for 1500 gold, it gives you like 2 filled black soul gems, and a whole bunch of other gems too on a shelf pluse its right next to an enchanting lab

The best way to do this is to smith a ton of daggers and enchant them all with the banish enchantment. Set the enchantment at "Banish lv 15 Daedra" and your dagger will go from 10 value to 2000 value. Also, you'll get a lot of Enchanting exp. This makes buying a ton of soul gems worth it, trust me!

Easiest way to get TONS of Soul gems is to steal them from college of winterhold. the college masters quarters respawn tons of gems if you wait like 2 days i believe. you can steal them over and over.

TIP: Use bound weapons! Under the skill tree of Conjuration (or maybe enchantment) You'll see that for every kill you do with a bound weapon, you can soul trap them. Easy way to fill empty gems

you should make a video about illusion leveling because when you go to the master illusion dark elf in the winterhold college and take his quest and when you activate one of the 3 fountain things you get unlimited magicka for 2 hour and then you should buy courage and use it on people that are asleep and that should level up your illusion very quickly. i went from lvl 25 to lvl 100 in about 20 minutes!

Mace of Molag Bal would've made your life a lot easier.

Kill the enemy the majority of the enemy with a normal weapon, switch to the mace and finish the enemy off. Easy soul.

just wanted to tell people who r trying to lvl enchanting. commenting on the "rings and neckalaces easier to find" this is true but the beast way to get the items to enchant is to get the transmute spell (look up a video for it if you dont know what I'm talking about) get some iron and turn it into silver/gold then silver/gold rings, You'll get 2 rings for every silver/ gold ingot.

I got my enchant up by taking the soulbinding perk which basicly upgrades all your summoned wepons to have the soul trap enchantment on them. Then I went out and killed some weaker creatures with my summoned sword. I also made a note of taking EVERY DAGGER that I could finde. Back in my chambers I took my armloads of daggers and tiny soulgems to spam enchanted daggers. helped my enchant level quite nicely. Also it is pretty cheap.

I suggest putting Banish on Iron daggers. You get the same amount of xp but the daggers with Banish are worth a lot more, approximately 600~1000 gold each. This way you can get a lot of money back if you buy soul gems, or just get more money
