Wow Metropolis in colour! Woah if you did this to the whole movie (the 2010 restoration) with the original musical score in tact everyone would be rushing to watch it!

Nicely done would actually love tove to see the whole film like this, I love the Moroder version but this is better than the coloured haze he used in some of the scenes, although it is the best version of the film to see that version colourized like this would be nice....god job, the tower part looks amazing.
I applaud what you're attempting to do, however, most of your "colorization" is nothing more than Tints applied to scenes - one scene is BLUE, another is AMBER-YELLOW, etc. THAT'S NOT COLORIZATION. RE your cityscape at night - PLEASE study a few shots of what a real city at night looks like. Your intentions are good, but these look like "knock them out fast" student things. Try being a bit more Artist and a little less Technician. It's not hard, and your results could be stunning.

i happened upon this. I have the VHS of Moroder's 1984 VHS and had it burned to DVD by a friend but the quality transfer from vhs quality is getting worse. Wish they would just release it remastered. However the "latest" full version is great, yet I can't help hearing Moroder's music.. nice job on this posting Susan !
In the actual film remake by Giorgio Moroder, I think you will find that the music absolutely makes the film. It wouldn't the same to any other music. Modern especially. Great video. Nice work :) x
