  • those were the days!!!

  • Can I find this subtitled in English. My Indian Arts and Architecture professor showed us this video and the opening credits because they recite from the Rig Vedas and things I've read about it sound interesting.

  • this show changed my vision on religion n history,,,i started enjoying it..

  • this song stirs in me childhood memories....and at the same time runs chill down my spine.....it beautifully describes Allah (SWT)....amazing.....look....hindus too pray to the same GOD but call him by a different name......

  • @cipherforlorn

    Wise man

  • @cipherforlorn: this song stirs in me childhood memories....and at the same time runs chill down my spine.....it beautifully describes Bharhma, Vishnu, Mahesh and Aadishakti Maa (Durga) (SWT)....amazing.....look....Muslims too pray to the same GOD but call him by a different name......Allah.

  • great

  • Vah to sare Bhoot Jaat ka swami mahaan means : The one which is Mahaan (:= Great) Swami (:= Lord) of the Bhoot (:= Elements) Jaat (:= Types)

=> The great consciousness which is lord of the physical matter.

  • Brings back amazing memories!!

  • DD ki jai ho!!

  • Actually I wan to see the very last episod of BEK. It has the full version of this vedic sloka!!

  • i am a brahmin.. i dont why we hindus who created most of the world knowledge get muddled in cateism...

yar yeh catsteism nahi hona chahiye aga hum hinduyon ko sachmuch apna akhand bharat banana hai to..

    kashmir se kanyakumar

    KANDHAR SE CACUTTA

  • The Creation of Caste as propunded by Lord Brahma is good as in line with the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure). Those who are against casteism are against God itself. Look in any other religion people do different type of work and this is ordained by God itself. In Modern Mangement also WBS is evaluated. Hail Hinduism the first of its kind the mother of all.

  • But as we see with the advent of KALI-YUGA this system was also undergone abuse. In the medieval period all the professions (caste) were under direct control of the royal family or Kings. Without King's approval no family or person were allowed to change their surname (aka profession). Thanks I hope you all get my point.

  • Could You Specify From Which Mandal OF Rig Veda is the Hymn in the song ..... The starting track comes from 10 mandal and 129 hymn of rig veda .... but couldn't figure out from which this one is .... nice music ... but crappy uncertain meaning ...probably the author was on dope ....how uncertain is he ,.... of what he is speaking ...

  • thanks a lot for the upload

  • feels like listening to this composition all the time, eternal vedas are always powerful

  • @nicechamp:amazing...really nice. u r a champ

  • @nice champ: amazing stuff.. was looking for this.. thought that ' the living god' was closest to this track..

  • 9 Neer may he harm us who is earth's Begetter, nor he whose laws are sure, the heavens' Creator,

He who brought forth the great and lucid waters. Which is a god like this whom shall we adore with our oblation?

10 Prajāpati! thou only comprehendest all these created things, and none beside thee.

Grant us our hearts' desire when we invoke thee: may we have store of riches in possession.

  • 7 What time the mighty waters came, containing the universal germ, producing Agni,

Thence sprang the Gods one spirit into being. Which is a god like this whom shall we adore with our oblation?

8 He in his might surveyed the floods containing productive force and generating Worship.

He is the God of gods, and none beside him. Which is a god like this whom shall we adore with our oblation?

  • 5 By him the heavens are strong and earth is stedfast, by him light's realm and sky-vault are supported:

By him the regions in mid-air were measured. Which is a god like this whom shall we adore with our oblation?

6 To him, supported by his help, two armies embattled look while trembling in their spirit,

When over them the risen Sun is shining. Is there any such god whom shall we adore with our oblation?

  • 3 Who by his grandeur hath become Sole Ruler of all the moving world that breathes and slumbers;

He who is Loord of men and Lord of cattle. Which is a god like this whom shall we adore with our oblation?

4 His, through his might, are these snow-covered mountains, and men call sea and Rasā his possession:

His arms are these, his are these heavenly regions. Which is a god like this whom shall we adore with our oblation?

  • IN the beginning rose Hiranyagarbha, born Only Lord of all created beings.

He fixed and holdeth up this earth and heaven. Which is a god like this whom shall we adore with our oblation?

2 Giver of vital breath, of power and vigour, he whose commandments all the Gods acknowledge -.

The Lord of death, whose shade is life immortal. Which is a god like this whom shall we adore with our oblation?

  • All of us Born in 70-80 are really very different from today's generation. We are also young however we are far more attached to our culture & are deeply nationalistic.

Generation gap has come very quickly this time.

  • truly nostalgic!! those were the days when Television was not an idiot box but educative in real sense. i came to know about some of the best literature pieces thru the doordarshan programs. seeing the current productions, we should really rethink the idea of evolution, because the technology has improved, creativity, sensitivity and progressive ideas have gone down. hope the days will come back...

  • @wildflowerexists TV broadcast in India was started with the clear objective of education in mind - in fact back in 80s Doordarshan had predominantly educational stuff - remember Krishi Darshan? Can you imagine broadcasting such a programme today? Who will sponsor such boring stuff! Your point is well taken, TV has gone the way of western societies - reality TV and sensationalism. Thank god we have YouTube to re-watch treasures like Bharat Ek Khoj...

  • @wildflowerexists : A time when quantity was scarce, so quality had to be impeccable.

  • This video is an excullent video.when nobody want's to see this type of serial doordarsan
