Eh, everything's fine now. There used to be tunnels leading from the podium to the quads, but those have long since been closed, so now people have to walk outside to get to the Podium. IDK the official reasons, but rumors have it it was because of violence (i.e., people getting raped and such).

Actually the whole network can be called the tunnels.. "Tunnel" doesn't just mean an underground road, you know. So aside from the hallway part in the very beginning, all of this took place in the tunnels.

Also, if you want to be really technical about it, the part with the golf cart road isn't even a tunnel, because it's at ground level. The podium is built on top of a huge concrete slab.

No, you probably saw a Wheelock E series speaker/strobe. As for the alarms, it depends where you are in the tunnel. If the tunnel is in a building that has horn/strobes, then there's horn/strobes installed. If the tunnel is in a building that has speaker/strobes, then there's speaker/strobes installed.
