Sorry but I still think someone has to make a decent video of Glasgow, yes there are some scenic photos but in general it just looks dull and along to a piano version of Why have I become so numb? Trying to find a video that will persuade a friend of mine from London to come and study for a year in Glasgow and all these videos are either still shots with bad music or videos that have awful picture and sound quality and fail to capture the fun, bright side of Glasgow!

Part 2 of comment. Breathtaking victorian architecture with some prize winning modern stuff and the usual concrete dregs from the 60`s that every city still has here and there. Plenty to see and do, saying that I still haven`t done half of the cultural stuff. Must be cos am unde unde underground. The music scene is top notch whether it is techno, trance,electro,garage, D&B, folk, rock, R&B,Jazz, bands of all different kinds not to mention the best restaurants and shopping outside of London in UK
This video is great, especially 1:50 into it from the top of garnethill where I lived in an old converted hospital and had views for miles and miles around. Right in the city centre too. It`s my adopted city and i`ve had the best ten years ever. Might be a bit rough round the adges at times but NY was once known as the big bad city too. Actually there`s no comparison. Glasgow is Beautiful. It wasn`t until someone told me to look up at the buildings that i discovered this.

Have you ever lived in the "safe" Athens? I am from there and the only thing I can tell you is that I feel safer in NY than in Athens. Scotland is a safe place. I support Independence. One way or another. The Scottish are great people. Perhaps some other countries wanna give it a bad name... but I love Scotland and everything that has to do with it. Scotland can do it better as an independent country.
What really happens in Athens and in the whole Greece proves how fake is the picture that the media show about the world. At least in UK the scumbags don't burn down stores and destroy the whole cities.

Gone is the Friendly city status replaced with a city that you cant even walk the streets in your own area during the daytime hours in safety. I for one if had the chance would leave this rotten to the core city tomorrow and i dont think i would be alone in doing so.
The city still has plenty of good points about it. It's still a nextremely beautiful city that deserves tohe the capital (or atleast, moreso than Edinburgh does).
