@TheMeddyb The problem is that along the top and bottom 10-15 cm of the screen it dimms the picture down seperate from the picure itself. it looks a bit like the black fields you get with 16:9 content exept there are none and it just gets darker in those areas. I've posted these vids for the Philips Support to have a look and they have concluded that it needs to be serviced. It's related to the dynamic backlight function and there is no problems if I deactivate that function.
@kireruskywalker No. There is no solution available at this time. They could not get a clear answer to if there is any plans of a software fix at a later time either.

@TheMeddyb my other videos might show the issue a bit more clearly, especially the one of the ps3 menu where you can't miss it..
