It's just a blatant ploy to get more money without actually creating new content. It's getting ridiculous. I feel like they are just going to put all the Disney movies in 3-D now. Why do I need to see Peter Pan in 3-D? Um, no. Plus I hate 3-D anyway, it gives me a headache.
They need to just continue doing Star Wars marathons on television, every once in a while like they've always done. And I watch them! A lot of people do. I can't wait to see The Lord Of The Rings trilogy in 3D...
I'm tired of 3D, and it's apparently taking over movie theaters. Soon you won't have your standard film anymore. Yes, watching a 3D film is indeed appealing, but the process before that is expensive! Tickets are almost $20 now, here in N.Y. Especially if it's in an IMAX movie theater. I saw Transformer 3 in an IMAX theater, 3D of course, and the price for 2 tickets were $40! With used 3D glasses with smudges all over them. Amazing.
the phantom menace is awesome...but 3D sucks,it messes with my eyes,plus its kinda hard to wear those ceap ass 3D glasses over actual glasses that without which most of the movie would be a big blur for me
I fucking hate this 3D shit. I don't know why they have to put nearly every fucking movie in 3D. It's a fucking joke. That's why I wait until the DVD versions come out at least you don't have to wear those stupid glasses. They shouldn't even bring 3D movies like ever.

Thank you! Not only are they re-releasing movies in 3D, but just making almost every new movie in 3D as well. Which I find particularly useless for movies that have no need for 3D effects. It's one reason why I barely go out to see new movies anymore, especially if they're going to jack up the ticket prices for something you're not interested in. What's the point? It's not like it really makes the movie experience any better or the movie itself more memorable.

I guess nowadays, all movies are in 3D whether something is popping out at you or not. As if I want to see a movie I disliked back then RETURN to theaters in 3D. If they put Beauty And the Beast in 3D might as well throw in The Care-A-Bears movie in 3D because it's totally different from the 2D version. >.>
