To do the "slides" : you slide the b-flat to C and then pin the Astring @ the octave fret past the 12 th.....not so hard right ?...ha ! ...the slide is amplified ,with his pinky he rides the volume to FULL @ like 3/4 of the way to the octave fret.. thenas he "pins it" he corrects the volume at like 1/3

I've been there and done that. Heroin steals your soul one chip at a time. Most junkies don't recover, they die junkies. I was one of the lucky ones, but I work hard at staying clean and will have 2 1/2 years this month. I'm not saying that to brag, I'm sharing it to show it can be done and hopefully give someone who's suffering some hope. It's a horrible life to be strung out, I feel sad for anyone who is struggling with drugs of any kind.

Walter was just as important for the Heartbreakers as Johnny Thunders. Walter almost wrote half of the LAMFalbum and also did leadvocals on some great tracks like All by myself and One Track Mind,Too much Junkiebusiness and I don't think that he sounds like Johnny Rotten at all.
