Super Smash Bros is about Nintendo's All Stars too, many 3rd party characters would just ruin the series. what fans want isnt always the best I mean some of these rosters Ive seen are fucking retarded.

The best reason Mega Man should be in Smash Bros. is because his first seven titles were all on a Nintendo console. 1-6 was on the NES, and 7 was on the SNES.
The Mega Man Zero series was also on only the GBA, and the collection was on the DS, so that's a good reason Zero should be in Smash.

Nintendo only let there be 35 characters and 25 in melee...so there could be "pattern" i guess when you have all the characters! so yeah in the next SSB game (if theres one i really dont think theres gonna be a 4th one) there will be about 45 characters...so at least 10 characters will be added but a few new comers from brawl or melee will be dropped out, making there be more than 10 character added
But that's a good thing. It means there's a huge possibility for the next games to have better characters. hopefully Nintendo catches on, and instead of waiting for a call, they rush to capcom and square and beg them to put their guys in the game.

SSB Universe? so im not the only one with that idea. but it needs an AWSOME, HUGE, LONG-A** ROOSTER of 3rd party characters. aside from the brawl and melee characters, they shuld have used Sora, Riku, Geno, Megaman, Conker (Conker's Bad Fur Day version, damn microsoft for owning him now-and-days), Lloyd and Emil (Tales of Symphonia), Shadow, Knuckles, or Tails. I would LOVE to see NiGHTS in the next game. Why is it so hard to put 3rd party characters in these games? All you're doing is advratising other companies characters to make them more popular. Geno WAS in brawl but was deleted because it was owned by square enix. there was a stage for him. in storymode it was hidden. called geno woods. unfortunatly square enix really didnt want geno in the game. like what the hell. geno will be missed. again he was in brawl. he was a VERY uknown character in brawl. square enix is so mean. geno had good moves..... and NOW people are hacking because geno is not in anymore. they are hacking so they can get geno.

Well, I can tell you why none of these other characters were in Brawl. I have one question, how many people here like to do paperwork? I'll go ahead and answer, nobody. Getting a 3rd party character into Brawl would have taken a HUGE amount of paperwork. If you think you could have done better, make your own game and see how hard it is =.=

I wish Sonic wasn't so cheap. his homing attack lets him get back on the stage to easy his up B lets him go farther than most characters. He's extremely fast . His Final Smash is very powerful. And he's not lite at all. He's not weak at all eather. Mega man would have been good, but unless he could use his special abilities he would just be a clone of Samus. Wich would suck.

To be honest, if a megaman character were to get in, it would most likely either be Zero as he appeared in the MMZ games, or Megaman.exe. And THAT is unacceptable.
Geno is like some sort of star spirit that possessed a toy that grew into a human sized robot that can shoot bullets out of his arm, use Geno Whirl (which was practically one of the strongest moves in the game > OVER 9000!!), and had some sort of atomic death ray move that rained hell down upon everyone................
............ so i think that's some of the main reasons people want him in the game.
you have to think on that the final smashes and more importantly the move stes i understand megaman is easy but what about pacman and bomberman what would there movesets be it would be a bit too hard to think up movesets for them if you could think them up then more of a chance it could happen

Im not a big fan of third party characters. i dont mind them as long as they have nintendo exclusive games like sonic does. even tho i like fighting with him iont think snake shoulda been in brawl especially since there arent any metal gear games on the wii. i agree that bomberman should have been in brawl and if you think about it he could have replaced R.O.B. it would only be a small storyline change since there are many bomberman and the anicent minister could have been the main bomberman in disquise

One time I actually mailed Nintendo a detailed list of characters and movesets that I wouldve liked to see in the next Smash Bros (way before Brawl, we're talking like 2002!).
THey mailed me a letter back along with my list, said they couldn't take fan suggestions for some rights reason or something. Megaman was probably my most anticipated character :[
i think the next brawl for console shouldn't be a tangeable game, but a download game with extra characters and content available for download as well, or (and this is probably never going to happen) a feature where you could "desingn" your own character

Grateful? How can I be grateful when the screw up the roster top to bottom? Why did they do this? Where is Megaman, Pichu, Mewtwo, Roy, Dr. Mario, Tails, etc.? Well there obiously GONE! Shadow would of made it before tails and knuckles. He was more wanted and he was the assist trophy, which is the closest to being a character so he's basicly next in line.

He wouldn't be a clone at all. Him being a clone of sonic is like saying Ike is a clone of Marth. He would have completely different smash attacks and his specials would obviously be chaos attacks which sonic doesn't even do. Also in Sega's official pole Shadow is the second most popular character next to sonic, so just because they put him in doesn't mean that the other people would, it would just be shadow alone. Also they'd probably never put Knuckles in because he's not that popular.

Geno was in Brawl. Square pulled a fast one on Ninty, forcing them to remove Geno. Which was the third third-party and what caused the first delay.

I no what most of u ar thinking..pokemon is in there and pokemon and digimon hate each other..but look at it this way!!!!
digimon fans will be able to beat up pokemon chars and vise versa!!!!
imagine the profites thy'd get ,the new items,the stages digimon has to offer!
theyd even make an event in event mode called "Mon Wars" whered u would have to choose either a pokemon or a digimon char and beat all the chars from the opposite series!!

@freaknik111 But Nintendo would struggle to get him into Brawl, just like the others. Though, however, in comparison, it'd be easier to make Geno than it would be Megaman. Megaman would probably copy Samus. But, however, Geno would be way too powerful (Seriously, if you'd played SMRPG, pay good attention to this), like with Geno Whirl or that other move with the rainbow beams dropping down on the foe from the heavens.

Well, I can tell you why none of these other characters were in Brawl. I have one question, how many people here like to do paperwork? I'll go ahead and answer, nobody. Getting a 3rd party character into Brawl would have taken a HUGE amount of paperwork. If you think you could have done better, make your own game and see how hard it is =.=

i agree, people always find something to complain about, even if companies like Nintendo have done everything in their power to please the people with their games. Seriously, Smash Bros came out with 2 Third Party characters. Not 1, but 2!!!!! I'd say that's still a big first step for Smash Bros.

I believe one rep from a company is enough. Why not put Shadow, Eggman, Rouge, Amy, Cream, Metal Sonic, Toejam and Earl, Ecco the Dolphin, S. Amigo and Alex Kidd in too? Not to mention Otacon, Raiden, Alucard, Sparkster, Gray Fox, Liquid Snake, the Elebits, The Contra dudes and a Dancer!

I wish Sonic wasn't so cheap. his homing attack lets him get back on the stage to easy his up B lets him go farther than most characters. He's extremely fast . His Final Smash is very powerful. And he's not lite at all. He's not weak at all eather. Mega man would have been good, but unless he could use his special abilities he would just be a clone of Samus. Wich would suck.

Geno is like some sort of star spirit that possessed a toy that grew into a human sized robot that can shoot bullets out of his arm, use Geno Whirl (which was practically one of the strongest moves in the game > OVER 9000!!), and had some sort of atomic death ray move that rained hell down upon everyone................
............ so i think that's some of the main reasons people want him in the game.

you have to think on that the final smashes and more importantly the move stes i understand megaman is easy but what about pacman and bomberman what would there movesets be it would be a bit too hard to think up movesets for them if you could think them up then more of a chance it could happen

Well, gotta say that I agree with what you said here. I'm impressed!
One time I actually mailed Nintendo a detailed list of characters and movesets that I wouldve liked to see in the next Smash Bros (way before Brawl, we're talking like 2002!).
THey mailed me a letter back along with my list, said they couldn't take fan suggestions for some rights reason or something. Megaman was probably my most anticipated character :[

i think the next brawl for console shouldn't be a tangeable game, but a download game with extra characters and content available for download as well, or (and this is probably never going to happen) a feature where you could "desingn" your own character

Grateful? How can I be grateful when the screw up the roster top to bottom? Why did they do this? Where is Megaman, Pichu, Mewtwo, Roy, Dr. Mario, Tails, etc.? Well there obiously GONE! Call me crazy but Super Smash Bros. Brawl sucks! They better make a forth installment and they better do it correctly.

I hate to say this, supersmashrosfan94, but Dr. Mario is a total bad char. I'm sorry, but Nintendo said no clones of characters. Dr. Mario was great, but Dr. Mario has a totally cloned moveset. thats just asking to much really now put to many way out there characters in brawl it ruins the fun. yes for mega man yes for a belmot (castlevania has been with nintnedo forever) and yes for geno. however sora is just to much we get human characrers from fireemblem. nights should be more of a background thing like in sonic adventure 1 durnig the pin ball stage.

Shadow would of made it before tails and knuckles. He was more wanted and he was the assist trophy, which is the closest to being a character so he's basicly next in line.

He wouldn't be a clone at all. Him being a clone of sonic is like saying Ike is a clone of Marth. He would have completely different smash attacks and his specials would obviously be chaos attacks which sonic doesn't even do. Also in Sega's official pole Shadow is the second most popular character next to sonic, so just because they put him in doesn't mean that the other people would, it would just be shadow alone. Also they'd probably never put Knuckles in because he's not that popular.
