  • everyone who thinks pharmacist was wrong watch this:

    watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=dfY5fVdnb_A

  • point of curiosity: what would the robbers have done if hoven hadn't pulled on them? the camera leaves off that hoven pulled before contacting the robbers, prompting the criminal to come guns blazing over the counter to fight back. he's a bumbling hero one minute when the robbers decide to run. but he would've been a dead guy who was protecting a few bottles of pills if the crook actually knew how to shoot his firearm. as it were, neither of them could've hit the broad side of a barn lol

  • the gun-toting side of me says good on Hoven for fighting back. but i think the side of me that considers the risks that he was lucky enough to have skated around may have made it not worth it. and for the record: he is lying about having not been informed of the gun carry policy at Walgreens. He is told that he can't carry at work, and the way to deal with robbers, at LEAST 2-3 times every year. So he loses credibility instantly with anyone who works there, simply for lying on facevalue.

  • No doubt, the criminals' families would have launched lawsuits at the company and hoven if he had managed to hurt/kill either of them. No telling what would've happened if hoven hadn't intervened. the crooks could've killed someone, or they could've simply walked away with some loot before they were picked up. we'll never know now.

  • i work for walgreens, and i can see where both sides are coming from. on one hand, this situation resolved itself without any innocent bystanders getting hurt. it could've gone sideways quickly, should someone (a kid?) been inadvertently shot. neither party was able to hit their target from a distance of just a few feet. Hoven could have just as easily been vilified for reckless manslaughter.

  • I might add that the Walgreens corporate policy of "non-confrontation," as well as their practice of firing anyone who legitimately defends himself or herself is akin to posting a sign saying, "Please come and rob us, we will do nothing to stop you." It makes for a criminal friendly environment.

  • I emailed the corporate offices of Walgreens and explained that, based on what I saw in these videos, I would not be shopping there anymore. I will be going to CVS or another competitor. They responded with a form email saying that the tech had violated their "non-confrontation" policy. WHAT? The bad guy pulled the trigger three times. Was he supposed to stand there "non-confrontationally" and wait for him to clear the jam? I hope plenty of others will take a stand and refuse to shop there.

  • @TheSparrowhawk2010

    damn straight.

  • chicagocop1.....I used to work in 019 in the jets. This guy was in the right. No question at all. Hope he makes a big check off walgreens.

  • and like always the niggers run for safety hahahahaha lmao

  • And fuck you walgreens. I will not shop there any more

  • THank you Jerry!!!! You are the best

  • This pharmacist is hero and should be rewarded for his actions! I would hire him to run my pharmacy. I least I know no one will be jumping over the counter for the oxycodone when he is there. As a pharmacist myself, I often look behind my shoulders when walking out to my car after closing down the pharmacy each night. Good Job Man!!!

  • This man is a hero. He saved not only his life but the lives of his co-workers. I live not to far from this Walgreens location but chose to drive to the next town to get my prescriptions due to the multiple robberies. (scary)

  • needs that yakkity sax music

  • Gun in one hand. Price scanner in the other? This pharmacist wasn't messing around...

  • BOYCOTT WALGREENS BOYCOTT WALGREENS BOYCOTT WALGREENS BOYCOTT WALGREENS BOYCOTT WALGREENS BOYCOTT WALGREENS

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe change.org will take up this pharmacist's cause??? I doubt it.......

  • can someone explain to me why NIGGERS are not classified as TERRORIST?

Law Enforcement and Walgreens- together we keep NIGGER CRIMINALS safe.

  • jeremy the Pharmacist kicks ass...........God bless

  • I will move all of my perscription business away from Walgreens, this man probbaly saved other employees and all those additictive drugs from being stolen and placed into the black market for sale to children. My God, what is Walgreens thinking of, huh? They have this all backwards. Can't believe where some of these businesses priorities are. Amazing, I hope he prevails in his law suit, for a lot of money.

  • Don't let anyone decide if you live or die. Guess some of these people that think they need to give the robbers what they want haven't seen the local news lately when clerks are shot in the back of the head after handing over the cash. Well not me I carry mine so criminals beware if I'm in a store cause u will never see mine coming I don't run!! Good job Jeremy Hoven

  • J u r the man!! These thugs could have rounded them up in the back and put a bullet in the of their heads. Jeremy I wish everyone would take a concealed carry class and fight back against these thugs that pray on the weak. J I owe you a large beer if you ever come down south to Thomasville NC Jeremy Rowe! Down to walgreens!!!!!lol

  • boycott walgreens

  • im pretty sure that everyone working their would have been dead by the time the cops came if that pharmacist didn't have a gun.

  • This guy needs to be given Medal when you have a gun pointed at you and no one can help you you "SHOOT TO KILL"

God Bless The Man TeXas Says YEAH DUDE!!!!

    rub out!!

  • these 2 robbers ran from the clerks gun the min. they heard the 1st round. you mean to tell me they were going to commit murders as well? LOL...obey the stores policy & obey they orders of the robbers. hell it isnt your money u are saving.

  • A lot of people get are shot and killed because they were being "compliant". If someone is robbing you at gunpoint, they've already decided that their life has no meaning, so they certainly don't give a shit about your's. I'm glad he had the gun.

  • i swear alot of work places have STUPID ass rules!

fired b/c he pulled his gun out for PROTECTION?? what in da world! if that man would have been killed walgreens wouldnt have paid his family shit! they probably would have ordered some flowers for his funeral and called it a day...hope that man wins his lawsuit!

  • I'd rather be alive using a gun to ony be unemployed, than dead because of any company policy.

  • My Assistant Manger was shot in killed during an attempted robbery in Baltimore back in 2006 I wish he had a gun that night. He would probably still be living. RIP Antonio.

  • @Indensity god bless you. People will never understand that guns can also save innocent lives, just as it did here.

  • lawsuit has no merit.the dummy was suppose to just give the crooks what they wanted.it wasnt his money he was fighting for.now he has no job and no case.

  • @deek74 Except the reason he started fighting back was because one of the robbers had a gun pointed at his coworker and according to him was what looked like beginning to squeeze the trigger to kill the coworker. So not so much a dummy as a lifesaver if the thug was indeed getting ready to commit murder.

  • @CrazyGerman624 yeah they said the gun had a malfunction and wouldnt pop off when the robber pulled the trigger

  • @deek74 Please dont be ignorant on this matter and claim one side. Ill throw out the simple 'What if', What if the robber planned to execute each employee and then make out with the money instead, how do YOU know their original intentions.

Obviously you're right though, because giving the 'crooks what they wanted' as you put it could of MEANT their lives as well as the money.

This guy did the right thing, you wouldnt be saying this if you'd been the guy he was protecting.

  • @deek74 The worker should not had a gun on him @ work thats why he was fired and thats why he will lose in court im a security guard not an armed guard and they tell u that you can bring my gun when leaveing my house its my right but not my right to be packing at the work place while IM on the clock so i leave it in my car the parmsists was in the wrong

  • @townrumor Yes ass hole......but the pharmacist is alive! What's more important? Get your head out of your ass. You arrogance is only surpassed by your ignorance.

I just find it amusing when smarmy little ass clowns love to give advice....and they have no idea of what they are talking about. Grow up junior!

    Get a life.
