  • Great lecture - I visited NK in 2010 and agree with many of Siegfried's observations

  • It isnt the DPRK that has to change its metality, it's the US ruling class that has to change. We see in Libya and Syria that the Anglo-Saxons take any military weakness as an opportunity to attack. The USA has overthrown many democratic governments, and has sponsored many genocides. The USA has 1 in 35 of its own people in its prison system (1 in 10 of Black people) including those out on licence. There are 1,500,000 homeless children. Why wouldn't the DPRK be afraid of such a gang?

  • Youtube, this evil corp censored me. lol

  • Is this guy a jewish? From the name it could be assumed...

  • @infoibatorerosso Perhaps, but what difference does it make?

  • @krnpowr No difference, but I have watched two videos about north korea and both the relators were jewish.

  • @infoibatorerosso So? What difference does that make? Are you a Nazi?

  • ohh world..both S n N Korea have sufferred for years. let them live in peace. go away with your ambitions. i think this subject just on one's side opinion.

  • I appreciate your contribution to my now slightly less limited understanding of N. Korea and its people, as well as their relationships with N. America, S. Korea, China, and Japan. Thank you for this informative video.

  • Thank you for an informative talk! We are going to have to accept the N. Koreans as they are, with hopes of limiting the spread of their technology to non government groups, such as hamas.

  • @BuickDoc

I seriously doubt that Hama's has any interest in doing arms deals with the North Koreans, and visa-versa. There is a big difference between a Pseudo Communist dictator, and a militant group waging Jihad.

Also Hama's is not a "non government group", even if Israel wont recognize them as such.

  • @kvmairforce

The best indication of exactly how bad things are there is the stories of the defectors who crossed into China. They say that they reached the Chinese border towns and couldn't believe how lively and prosperous the outside world really was... but of course, the funny thing is that those Chinese border towns are actually pretty dingy in comparison to the main large Chinese cities and even more so compared to US and South Korean cities.

  • YAWN!!! After 20 seconds of drivel.

  • This is a gem

  • @kvmairforce They don't allow immigrants.. If they did, I am sure people would have migrated there..

  • can we goto war with N.korea now, please.

  • they have nuclear bombs....plenty of nuclear bombs....and they are ally with china who have ove r1 billions people

  • @kas120587 we got satellite technology. we'll control the air.

  • I agree that NK needs nukes to scare away USA and that the missiles on seoul is a good idea for negotiation purposes but other then that NK can if they are smart be better then democratic countries

My version of North Korea in the future if I was the leader

Democracy in many ways but where Juche is law (no freedom of religion), immigrants must integrate/adapt or get thrown out of the country (no segregation),

  • @akumie2 ALL crime (greedy people who exploit the poor, littering on the streets, robing an old lady, graffiti...) is punished by death if proven quilty in democratic courts (no ctrime, even by poor for fear of death), all companies must be 100% enviromental (no plastic allowed...), no shallow shows on TV (no crappy music or any show that is just made to make money fast example, Justin Bieber, pop stars, fake 3D movies, romantic comedies...)...

  • after watching this I see this dumb fuck is a North Korean puppet... Google talks more like Google anti USA/Israel talks

  • The North Korean government will have trouble keeping the boy with the Nike-swoosh baseball cap on the farm. Nike will probably recruit him to work in one of their sweatshops.

  • @tantzer ,right ,for $1 dollar a day !

  • Important reminder: atomic weapons are not a right for europe and america, and not the right of North Korea. If europe and america wants North Korea to abandon it's nuclear weapons then it must abondon its nuclear weapons first period! Long live North Korea!!!

  • @1187gogo

or we can just knock North Korea off the planet

  • @RStarvling You sound like Hitler, except even he did not advertise his genocidal tendencies, conducting the Holocaust with some secrecy.

  • @tantzer

    i was being sarcastic

  • @1187gogo Who are you? And how did a North Korea supporter get a computer connected to the internet? Your statement sounds logical to uneducated people, too bad the human race has evolved. How about North Korea gives up it's weapons first and the world arm disarmament can continue.

  • @kvmairforce For someone who makes a point about "uneducated people," your writing has too many errors of punctuation and syntax.

  • @kvmairforce when America will disarm then we can talk

  • @MrGavrilovic When North Korea stops make threats every 2 seconds, then we can talk. Look at the huge difference in North and South Korea. There no better comparison between two countries in the entire world, not one. One is based off old human way of thinking and one is the modern/evolved way. South Korea is much more educated, much more happy, WAY richer and on and on I can go. There is no comparison between the countries. North is a failed state.

  • @kvmairforce Who said you South Korean are much more educated? They are maybe more brainwashed as the entire western community. You do not know that North Koreans are gifted for many things, you have to watch what their children are able to do so you would see North Korea is not a failed state. who garuantee us that South-Korean are happier? did you hear about suicide commited there?

  • @MrGavrilovic I'm not sure who you are, but obviously you don't understand the world in a logical manner. Let me just say this.... "you don't see people trying to go to North Korea to live." I suggest you think about that statement. Even a brain-washed person such as yourself should be able to understand that concept. It is as simple as I can make it.

  • @kvmairforce What is the logical manner to undertand the world. The entire world is being oppressed from capitalism. And how do you know if there are people who go and live in North-Korea there is even an American who left the stupid Korean war launched by America willing to control others so he went to live in North Korea so you are not right there are maybe more but nobody knows and i dont think you know about it.

  • @MrGavrilovic You should go live in North Korea, let us know how it goes.

  • @jimbobanalbeats I will send you some pics

  • @MrGavrilovic I would visit myself if it didnt seem like such a dull place to visit. Seoul, SK is an amazing town however.

  • @MrGavrilovic To get some education about N Korean torture concentration camps, google the "Testimony of Ms. Soon Ok Lee" and read. N Korea still maintains these never existed.

  • @kvmairforce of course for me the world is working in this way I will explain to you: When politician say these coutries are axes of evil this mean in fact they are good people who wants their people not to be slave to the western "civilized" white mens world! So when they say take left I will take right. When they say crisis I know I have to stretch myself while they continue to spend and pay thieves and killers millions per year

  • @MrGavrilovic I can continue to explain but I dont think you understand anything cause you see the world in a "logical" manner so I give up. Brainwashed are those who go to army and are killed for the interest of the little numbers of rich men not me!

  • @MrGavrilovic I'm just saying, you don't EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER hear anyone immigrating to North Korea from another country... not even China! That one statement alone should have all the wisdom anyone would need to make a rational assumption about how bad North Korea really is.

  • @MrGavrilovic Both should disarm.

  • 1:21:49 sooooo long why?

  • I just wish that cunt would quit saying Ahhh! Away to fuck.

  • This is such an interesting lecture, Thanks for uploading.

  • North Korea is a fascist Communist Dynasty and is the worst Police State on the planet and it has no right to exist. North Korea is a Failed State and the free Democratic Nations need to develop a strategy to ensure that North Korea implodes and collapses and that it is eventually absorbed into South Korea, the way that East Germany collapsed and was absorbed into West Germany.

North Korea needs to be isolated and embargoed and not one penny or euro of trade or aid should go there.

  • @Souria2011archives well if you don't send aid the Nkorean government won't give a shit it's really the people who suffer by doing that, also the east west germany reunion didn't go that well eighter it still costs germany a lot of money these days. really there is no easy way out of Nkorea literally and figuratively, I mean the whole system is set up like an endless circle

  • @Souria2011archives Still spreading more propaganda I see. Isn't your lies about Syria enough for you?

  • @Souria In North Korea, people know their news media are biased. In the US, even educated people eat up the media propaganda ("Let's attack Iraq since it has WMD, Iran's about the make a nuclear weapon, the US supports democracy in the Arab world, Israel is a model of human rights, etc. etc. BS, BS, BS"). Which is worse?

  • @Souria2011archives North Korea is a shithole alright but what about the increasingly fascist U.S.A (look up the definition of fascism: it means the state serving big business) or E.U (including my own country). It's not like "civil rights" and "human rights" are so high on our own internal political agenda's anymore.. and you know that as well as I do.

  • Three cheers to Google and freedom of speech in the US for bringing a true picture from North Korea. I believe policymakers in the US should listen to what Dr. Hecker is saying and help North Korea address its energy insecurity. Also, it is in the long-term interest of every country to respect the sovereignty of every other country. There is no country that has the intelligence to understand this better than the US. I hope Obama understands this and solves the problem quickly.

  • I was reading some comments without seeing this film. I am already afraid i will get angry...

  • @AtheismCentral

Which statement are you talking about?

  • Comment removed

  • @Whatistheissue

Wait, what are the Russians doing to the Palestinians? And I don't think it makes it any better to inflict pain upon your own people, that's not much of an excuse. Like if I killed someone and said "At least he was also Canadian".

  • All those brains wasted on murder, destruction and filthy technology - unworthy of admiration or respect and certainly nothing to be proud of.

  • Money, money money... Do you American realise that you are going to die one day, and that your money wont help you. Its not all about money.

  • @3SRBIJACCCC

    Money gives people opportunities.

  • he fails to mention any provacation that lead to the recent clashes between north and south and is misleading to his audience

  • Let the people of North Korea see what life is like in South Korea and let them choose.

  • @Delta4ms I think they would choose North Korea as opposed to the capitalist debt cesspool.

  • @Delta4ms That's what tends to happen to cause change, excepting invasions.

  • @ specnaz157 you are a complete asswipe. Your as ignorant as they come. You believe the poor people of nk are not brainwashed? When your isolated and told what to do and say you don't have a choice!!!! Go live there then u fuckn idiot!!!!!

  • he's trolling. Check his profile. A true communist would be demanding freedom in his profile. He's just being a dick.

  • It's irrelevant if what he saying is all true or all a load of bollocks. It will be and should be seen simply as propaganda for more war. "Weapons of Mass Distraction" is an old story. And the moralising about 'normal people', 'families' and repression is not only hypocritcal but also pretty reprehensible coonsidering the humanity of Iraq, Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and so on.

  • North Korea is a big fag.

  • Comment removed

  • what is the point of Kim? Why does he do this? The People are suffering, there is no reason this should be happening.

  • @LordKaisen without nukes, america would invade NK right away. Do you think the america has ever hesitated to invade a foreign country? Libya fell because gaddafi gave up his nuclear program

  • @SirHungryHippo

It's not the nukes that prevent allied forces from invading NK, genius. It's the fact that Seoul is so close to the DMZ that NK has so many missiles and so much artillery readily pointed towards Seoul, one of the most populated metropolitan areas in the world, that they could level the entire city in less than an hour. Libya fell because they had no leverage, while NK has Seoul and the rest of their own severely brainwashed populace. The Nuke issue is just icing on the cake.

  • @IReallyMissCybertron same shit that i said already...NK has the military power to threaten american allies, wether this be from nukes or the ability to destroy seoul. Gaddafi gave up his nuke program in exchange for american friendship. Now we know that friendship has no meaning without true military power. Iran and NK have survived so far because of their nuclear power, and i believe the events in libya will pursuade them to make even more missiles.

  • @IReallyMissCybertron same stuff that i said already...NK has the military power to threaten american allies, wether this be from nukes or the ability to destroy seoul. Gaddafi gave up his nuke program in exchange for american friendship. Now we know that friendship has no meaning without true military power. Iran and NK have survived so far because of their nuclear power, and i believe the events in libya will pursuade them to make even more missiles.

  • @IReallyMissCybertron I agree with you except on one thing, why do you think that North Koreans are brainwashed? Because they love their country? I saw much more capitalist brainwashed Westerners, by Western multinational companies who pursue their own private goals in sponsoring "patriotism" and "love for their own country" to the Western folk. How can you tell you aren't brainwashed for example? You can't tell for yourself, no one can, only others could tell

  • @specnaz157

I don't think they're brainwashed because they love their country. I think they're brainwashed because they are not granted the opportunity to think anything else besides loving their country. Millions literally die of starvation yet they preach GLOBAL SUPERIORITY to their people, and their regime denies its people from learning about the outside world, and send ENTIRE GENERATIONS to death camps if family tries to leave the country. The public has no choice but to be brainwashed...

  • @IReallyMissCybertron I don't think you have studied enough of NK when you say that millions die of starvation and that their government denies its people to know about the outside world. Concentration camps are yet another myth, I grew up in communist country, and i really do miss those days, and there were also what you would call "death camps" just that who ever lost their head there actually deserved it. On the other hand, USA executes their inmates and its leading in it after China...

  • @specnaz157 Google the "Testimony of Ms. Soon Ok Lee" and tell me the inmates in this 'mythical' torture camp deserved it. And then tell me the prison guards are NOT brainwashed - they would have to be to treat people like this. There are many who have escaped NK camps and told of their experiences. Also it is fact that there was mass starvation. Do some research.

  • "We have to live with it"

How about we blockade China and North Korea with our Navy. No imports/exports whatsoever. Give them a one-month ultimatum before we flatten Pyongyang and Beijing. Fuck their "governments", they are spoiled children that need to be spanked.

  • @RogerwilcoFoxtrot

I do not really think that United States can handle potentially a World War III with this economic recession.

  • @RogerwilcoFoxtrot i agree when do we start

  • @RogerwilcoFoxtrot Except china will level US and it's allies.

  • @VEKKIO They very-well might, if the failing economic policies of the USA continue, the military leadership in the USA continues to be so dominated by special interest industries intent on selling cheap uniforms and equipment, contractors continue to gobble-up taxpayer dollars while commiting warcrimes and killing American soldiers with friendly fire and faulty equipment that electrocutes them, and if the USA doesn't take China more seriously. Not that I want democracy to die, but things are bad

  • @tipoomaster The Nuclear program was an attempt to fix the electricity part.

  • @AccordingtoWes

Could be, but what does testing ICBM's have to do with civilian energy?

  • @tipoomaster if you actually care about NK people of being a morally bankrupt kid who cackles at glee at your "enemies'" suffering, look at your own ass. it's American-led political isolation that is keeping electricity and food from "most" north koreans just as much as any nonsense from Kim. and if you were a bit smarter you'd realize that making Pyongyang "looking good" is one of their few sources of foreign hard currency via tourism. 99% of you 14 year old kids know 1% about NK.

  • @shalom1948hellyeah What the hell are you talking about? Isolation is led by the Koreans themselves. If you paid any attention they North Koreans don't want to do what the Chinese did, and they close markets ones they start flourishing.

  • @markinu

I think Shalom and Klee are either trolls, astro-turfers, or just dumb. You're right, Kim there in North Korea leads an isolationist regime, you can't blame a single other country for it. If that were the case, they could do trade with everyone else.

  • @shalom1948hellyeah

American led isolation? There are plenty of other countries they could do trade with if that was the case, but the North Korean dictatorship leads an isolationist regime. Honestly, you're on here accusing everyone else of being clueless kids, but your the one who knows shit-all.

  • Donald Rumsfeld for President of North Korea!

  • North Koreans "Deliberately" make there country country nice and clean. Is this not the norm in your country? The arrogance and the resentment......Me Me Me, "I am always right and better", "you are always wrong". What kind of educational system do you have? Didn't your parent teach you anything about "humility"?. Disgusting culture of hate.... Does making peace and friends any value in your culture.

  • "probably" ,"Likely" ,"maybe" , "could be" these are words defining "NOT SURE" and "DON"T KNOW" about N. Korea. Resentful and self imposed isolation from N. Korea is NOT N.Korea's problem. Go learn before demeaning people. Go learn and don't let resentfulness get in the way of COMPLETE TRUTH, and don't fall for "Selective music to your ears" info by profit media jounalist who worry more about career that complete TRUTH. Learn from teachers and professors......

  • @tipoomaster You sound as if your nation is any different. Pot calling kittle black.

  • @klee642

Most Canadians have no access to good healthcare, food or electricity? Right...Moron.

  • @tipoomaster

    Lol, nice. klee642 got pwned.

  • @tipoomaster N. Korea claims the same thing, but we all know that is not perfect. N. Koreans think their system is better than Canada? Sounds stupid does it, but how is that any differ from your judgement on N.Korea. STOP the insult and learn to get along with other people you never met. That is the point.... PEOPLE are PEOPLE. The culture of demeaning and insults of others you never met...sounds very uneducated. Don't accuse N.Koreans as lying without knowing who they are.

  • @klee642

You've gotten me wrong, I'm not insulting North Koreans. I'm insulting the leadership alone. Dictatorships aren't fun.

  • @tipoomaster you're basically a clueless 14 year old who's seen a couple of youtube videos and thinks he can talk shit. you don't know a thing about North Koreans or the leadership. you're simply demonizing whoever the media programs you to demonize. sheep meet pasture. have at it.

  • @shalom1948hellyeah

And you know more? You're obviously not living in North Korea either, as you would not have internet access unless you were high ranking government.

  • Why isn't NATO bombing North Korea to save its people from this brutal dictator who kills his own people?! Oh wait they have some nukes and a very large(but poor) armed forces. We in the west only attack countries that have oil and rag tag armies that can hardly fat back.

  • Ok,this is just another pro white survivalist, white supremacist anti people of color video that should be titled,if the up-loader was honest, "How did these tragic sub-humans get a weapon to threaten innocent white people-and what can we do to nullify this?'

  • Oh yeah lets have google a corp tell us how it is FUCK GOOGLE

  • This is first presentation that actually informs people about N. Korea. This is professional info unlike profit orientated media which is SO extremely negative on N .Korea. This is why people should learn from professors and teachers, instead of politicians and jounalists.

  • @klee642 North Korean agent.

  • @Gloomshadow100 N. Korean hater.

  • @klee642 North Korean Intelligence agent

  • @Gloomshadow100 \

You are N. Korean people hater; I am NOT a hater. Nazis are haters, baby killers.

  • @klee642 I served against your Dear Leader in the DMZ at Imjin Gak 1990-91. There is only ONE Korea.

  • @Gloomshadow100

Your Dear Leader Nazi Hitler must have changed from Jews to N.Koreans. STOP hating N.Korean people as they are NOT jews. Don't HATE people you never met, and DO NOT stereotype the entire population of N.Korea. As for politicians in N.Korea is as retarded as yours. There is ONE Korea under KOREAN Citizens as rest non-koreans are "trip wire for political sacrifice". Stop demeaning people behind their back---kintergarden Rule 101. Visit and learn. Media is NOT your GOD.

  • @klee642 Iived in Korea for a year you douche, I saw North Koreans all the time.. mostly NKPA, you child!

  • @klee642 Lots of babies have been murdered in the NK concentration camps. Google the "Testimony of Ms. Soon Ok Lee" to learn about it.

  • fuck the communist party

  • @monkeetime absolutely i agree Emil, in all due respect he is naive. he would believe all the ppl trying to put on a good look at the front.

  • 53:55 N Koreans celebrate Polish Independence Day? How cool is that!

  • Comment removed

  • @monkeetime Its just not his field of expertise. BTW I've seen your DPRK videos and they are very good. But yeah, he knows thier nuclear program but the rest of the country hes too optimistic about. There are however a lot of cell phones in the NK now (300,000 officialy probably more with illegal users) making the NK the fastest growing cell phone market in the world (Seriously, actual statistic). The baseball cap I agree with you, hes probably some ultra-privledged party brat.

  • Great presentation

  • Thank you for this kind of videos! 9:36 Who were those guys? XD

  • My DPRK videos can be found on my profile... I am nowhere nearly as optimistic as this guy.

  • @monkeetime omg your stuff is awesome!

  • @monkeetime

    Yeah, your series was awesome.

  • anyone who chooses Uranium cycle is choosing nuclear for weapons. Thorium cycle nuclear has the same benefits but is not weapons friendly. N. Korea is "one of those people" that yopu have in every community. Simply a basket case that you let go their own way until they finally die of natural causes........

  • Very interesting! I was having dinner with my Korean buddies 2 days ago (before this video) and I was asking them why North Korea with its 50 years of nuclear development, has very limited nuclear capabilities. Learned a lot from Mr. Hecker. Good stuff! But even with cell phones, the pyramid hotel, and Nike hats, North Korea is still an economic disaster. Unless the government is less oppressive, the country will remain poor. It may not implode as he says, but it will be poor indefinitely.

  • @junhc83 more like a pyramidal shell of a building that was meant for use as a hotel. And it's not just the oppression holding the economy back, it's poor managment. what do you think caused the arduous march (90s famine)? it was a poorly placed dam which caused flooding ruining crops and making a small famine into a disastor

  • @radiofreak56

Rule by force tends to lead to decisions which are not good for those being forced. Systemic poor management is a symptom of a lack of choice.

  • I find it comforting and very promising to see a this poor nation finally improving. I dont agree with north korean politics but i do have to admit that i am very impressed and inspired to see these impoverished people banding together to build a better future and a better state.

  • @catklyst I found it to be a more than slightly naive point of view, even though it was interesting and worth listening to. The problem I have is that it is a real slave state in every sense of the word, with concentration camps and a racist ideology on par with the Nazi Nuremberg laws. I found the speaker to be more than a little apologist towards this regime. I can never excuse or forgive such a slave state, and I am not all that interested in taking the word of people who try.

  • @catklyst the music center, pool and spa, university, etc are all for the ruling class - slave masters of the impoverished north korean majority. it's actually quite nauseating.

  • Fourth =/

Also interesting, the US never invaded North Korea for real weapons yet they invaded an oil country for fake ones. Hooray for US Bashing >_>

  • @ZirconCode Because if North Korea is invaded, they will take a few million people with them within two minutes in the city of Seoul. It has nothing to do with what the U.S. wants to do and everything to do with the consequences of actions.

  • @SummerSeale tru, USA would have to just use its new Super-Atomic-bomb on the whole land into the depths of hell. If USA still want to preserve the people of S.korea

  • @aznbreez

It would suicidal to attack Nuclear N. Korea. Another example, If it was not for S. Korean soldiers during Korean War, the outcome would have been like Vietnam War. Support role is only good as the Majority they are supporting.
