His question was, "Why do we have to buy a whole new game just to have the problems in the previous one fixed." This proves a really good point. I mean, sure, you buy another game for Campaign as well, but why do we have to buy it for multiplayer. The only reason Activision would close the Servers is to contain the intrusion and protect valuable data. that is what happend when PSN was compromised in march... @JBbabegetter I have more of a life than anyone else you could possibly know, I'm fifteen, already finished my GED, had a job, going to college in September of 2012, supporting myself, own my own online store to sell things I made, have a bunch of friends and do a bunch of activities, and I'm still worried about Black Ops because no one buys the game for single player, I just spent $400 on a PS3 and the game and I don't like it being gone.
You would feel the same if you're little Reach was gone

The only reason Activision would close the Servers is to contain the intrusion and protect valuable data. that is what happend when PSN was compromised in march... Activision closed the Servers for the duration when PSN was down, for obvious security reasons. Activision were just probaly making it clear that IF there is an intrusion there will be ready.

They didn't but imagine this. When you go to gamestop,Walmart,Bestbuy etc... In the release day of any call of duty you see people with the ps3 cod recipt of pre-order and ppl with the cod box ready to buy it if they shut it down you will not see them lines of like 400 ppl you will see lines of about 150 ppl and their money will decrease and that will be the end of the Call of Duty series.

@damuck561 A few guys hacked the PS Store and they added infinite money to their wallets or something. Theyre making progress now, and it looks like the hacking part is fixed. But, theyre still under maintenence, because they are trying to fix the STEAM thing for Playstation Plus, PSN was being overused. It caused the system to crash and Sony is trying to fix it.
