Creed is before AB...AB was formed because Scott Stapp was arrested...then AB split after Scott stopped being solo and reformed Creed..They both rock..diff. genres,,,no comparing diff. genres..

Hard rock/heavy metal today is crap-- its not talent--its just noise. Alter bridge is actual music with singing you can actually understand with actual melodies. Most other hard rock now is worth nothin

not all heavy metal is crap. bands like maiden, metallica, megadeth, slayer, anthrax, etc. are still going strong. check out times of grace (side project of former KsE vocalist jesse leach and adam d). their songs are very powerful. still i see where you're coming from. there are a ton of crappy metal bands like slipknot and five finger death punch.

AB are def one of the few that are keeping rock alive, but rumor has it this will [unfortunately] be there last album.

@MosherDude101 Brilliant? Not a chance. Slipknot didn't "create" nu metal. Great bands like RATM, Nirvana, and Tool paved the way to it. First came Korn and then came other nu metal bands like Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, and Linkin Park.

All of Slipknot's songs sound exactly the same (especially their old stuff). It's all fast drumming, loud distorted guitars and bass, and screaming. Stone Sour are better. So please, don't say I don't know shit because I do. If you like them, that's fine.
