It was very interesting that you included that minoan statue. As far as I know, this has no relation whatsoever to Hecate...but its interesting...was this just intuition on your part? Hecate is often associated with snakes in her earliest incarnations....But rather than being a reference to crete, it also could be a connection to the egyptian ureus, since she has compelling similarities to Isis...Of course its also worth speculating on how much crete influenced egypt or visa versa....
the image you have from 6000 BC is probably an ancestor of cybele, not hecate. Cybele had a temple at Ephesus, Hecate at the same time at Lagina.
The Carians worshipped her, it is known, long before the greeks did, or before the greeks even existed. It is a mystery where the carians came from, perhaps Minoan.

i have a similar problem. Against the darker bakcground, the text should be in a other colour besides a dark one.

The text doesn't contrast with the background. I had to pause it and run it back several times to read what it was saying.
