@Daveomatico: If you are not afraid to use your pink, try this. Zero is an open string, 1 is your index finger, 2 your middle finger, etc. Same frets as before.

has anyone an alternative for the chord at 2:09min? Because I tried to play it on an acoustic guitar and i didn't succeed in playing it with the thumb over the thickest string. i guess i have to use some kind of barré chord.

Got part 1 down to a tee but this is rock!! Been trying for about a month now, just can't do it. @Tegomass114 as I see it he uses E major and then a bar on the second fret with an E in the base. And the u just add (on the 2. fret bar) 2. finger on the 3. fret of the B string, and 3. finger on the 4. fret on the G string

Let me tell you now, you DO NOT need to pluck all three strings like that, clapton DOES NOT play it as precise as that. It sounds better using two fingers but catching the "extra" string every so often. Good luck people :).

Excellent video Justin, your nails on right hand are strong, I wear mine down due to work, but thinking of getting false nails and cutting them to correct size for fingerpicking (anyone think of that?) just started fingerstyle, I do not like fingerpicks as they don't feel right, ...anyway, Thanks, much appreciated...TrippleLee, yes you can, but for efficiency, I would bar the first 4 strings with third finger and sixth string with middle, mute the fifth string, a form of F#m7...
