Don't go to great wall and the tourist junk or you will be blinded and miss out on what CHINA REALLY IS. If you realize the void and go see the villages, the gardens, the memorials, the culture, the life and preservation of thouands of years and you will see what China really is and why the Chinese are a proud and peacefull nation.

Um, how long did it took you to wall from start to end? It looks really exhausting and hard. Hehe! Is it me or I heard Japanese people talking in their language at 3:58-4:02? I bet they were saying, "OMG, this is exhausting". LOL!

I am so enjoying your videos...I was there in 2004 & I agree that Great Wall kicked my butt too! I wanna go back, the whole China experience was life changing for me, will never see the world the same again....thanks for sharing your vids!

Yes, that is the same place I hiked. I hear there is another less-populated part of the Great Wall that was much further away. I might need to check it out just for the footage.

Yeah, the place we were was pretty touristy although it seemed less people were there the day you went. There are other places to go that might be better to get a better experience. Let me know what you find out!
