The case is to keep those scratches off the phone....your complaining about plastic scratching?? That's what it does!! If it was like that when you bought it then take it back and get it replaced, it isn't that hard.
Sorry to be posting again. But I just tried to remove the case and it is extremely hard to do, at least it was for me. Placing my fingernail between the case and the phone didn't work for me. What I used was my credit card. I placed that into the bottom corner. That worked best for me.

Wow...I just bought one of these cases from Target, same price and mine looks GREAT! There's no scratches what so ever on it. Maybe someone brought that one back to the store after they had used it and the store resold it.
I agree, case should not have scratches out of a sealed box... but it will end up looking like ass eventually, sort of the point of the case, the $25 shell protects the $700 gadget?
If you hate how many scratches you accumulate you can always buy another $25 case which is really a small investment in protection for an iphone in my mind.

The fact of the matter is, if it scratches in shipping, it's going to scratch ever worse with daily use. I wouldn't recommend it either. I've been happy with the iFrogz Luxe case (except fat chargers/cables don't fit very well).
I don't think your one was new. When they are new they have a protective cover over the case, so there is no way it could be scratched if this was new. I have been using this case for about 5 weeks now. Mine now has quite a few scratches but it really does not bother me. Unless you put it 3cm from your face u can't notice. I think this looks better on the white Iphone.

i droped my iphone when iw as standing and the case protected it, it boucned of the floor and then spined around then stoped haha, rubber i assume made it boucne, it protected it

i have the reveal but i use it rarely, i like the feel of the iphone the way it is, though i have dust under my screen so thinking of calling apple up to get a replacement, then in that case use the reveal more since the chrome bezle has some hairline not very noticable scrtaches but its gonna happen anyway lol
I had the same problem when my Reveal came in, there were scratches onthe back form the package. Call them and they will send you out another one with out sending in that one.
Hey I just got mine today for the iPhone 4 and it is my new favorite case it scratches easy but it looks amazing!

I think they covered it, your going to get scratches in the plast case.. you should have gotten a silicone casing it you don't want scratches.

the rubber siding really helped.

I don't think your one was new. When they are new they have a protective cover over the case, so there is no way it could be scratched if this was new. I have been using this case for about 5 weeks now. Mine now has quite a few scratches but it really does not bother me. Unless you put it 3cm from your face u can't notice. I think this looks better on the white Iphone.
