Hey JC, just dropped in after checking out your LOG posts. I was immediately reminded of why I think this recording is the single most influential piece of bass performance in the world; the plays should be in the millions no joke! I have to see you live sometime. It would be up there with the SMV tour, which I did get to see last year.
@Fjord76 Wassup brother? Thanks for the comment!! I see you know your stuff!!! Most people aren't familiar with Dynasty!! Of course I came from that era so I laughed when I heard Angie's track for the 1st time!
Jackie Hi, you had sent me the Angie Stone Live in Holland a year or two back, thanks for that.
Also, you still are my bass hero. It was these video recordings that made me buy my Lakland 55-02, I must say the tone on this recording is the best I've ever heard for this genre, thanks to the fingers, bass, and finally that all Eden rig. Reconsider! I'm sure Eden would love to support you!
Hey my friend! Thanks for the comments...I'm glad you enjoyed the tracks from the live DVD! I'm gonna tell you a secret...best solution for good live recorded tone is to play with LOW VOLUME on the gig! Works everytime!! haha! Thanks again!
This is nice, I see Reggie Hines up there blowing like he knows how and STEVE woo lawd!!!.....I also enjoyed you sitting in with Soul Village last night...I appreciate your musical talents
Angie was a platinum artist.... i mean she really deserves the attention...
its overbearing overexposed artist with minimal talent who wins awards, sell records, with no substance with their craft... give me my ANGIE STONE anyday
Haha! Yeah man we did this show 2 days after we got back from a month-long European tour....didn't have time to get EBS on the rider! That's why I had to rock the t-shirt! :-)
Your Tone is just SICK!!! Love IT!! and I'm not gonna even mention your GROOVE and NOTE SELECTION!! DANG!!!!!! Head Bobbin at Work!!! Thank You!!!
