what is the instument played at the beginning and end ?

@0207penny it sounds to me like some of these music box devices: you wind them up and then they play for a while... it could also be a xylophone/vibraphone or some other instrument you have the hit metal bars (in this case, the very small ones producing hign-pitched tones). but it think the music box device is most likely as it would correspond to the concept of a last waltz (the device stops playing and isn't winded up again), and in the end of the song you hear the melody slowing down a bit.

I  absolutely ADORE this song...

I don't know why, but it somehow always comforts me when I'm sad, and although it doesn't really cheer me up, it's something like if it helps me go through whatever the problem is.

I like their old stuff better, but the new ones are not bad either. Btw, Lauri is so MYSTERIOUSLY CUTE, GORGEOUS I dare to say :D

I just recently discovered The Rasmus, and I regret not having listened to them sooner. Lauri has an amazing voice that sings to my soul. They deserve more popularity than they are getting. They are definitely in my top 5!!

hehe i don't think the title ever reffered to the real watz... i guess it actually reffers to the relationship between a man and a woman... the last waltz could be just an atte,mpt to make it work... confusion leads the dance and so they waltz, so they live their life according to the beautiful confusion that makes it all happen.
