What a shame this type of music had to be run off by grunge. Hard rock/metal is soooo much better! Wish modern artists would take a cue from bands like this and imitate them...
I think I read somewhere that Don wanted this song to go on Back For The Attack but the other guys fought for no ballads on the album for a change. Interesting fact: writing credits for this song is D. Dokken and M. Brown which I assume is Mick Brown.
Go to You Tube and do a search for Keith Carmichael/Faithfully and give it a listen. You will be glad that you did. It is absolutely magnificent and would make Steve Perry proud. Be sure to rate the video and share with your friends.
@Ginagiovani This isn't that waaayyy old school.. This was from the early 90s after Don left Jeff, Mick and George to do a solo venture. These songs are all good and the CD jams from start to finish. Not a bad tune on the whole release - One of my favorites ever
thumbs up if it makes you want to put a bullet thru the screen every time those mother fucking bastards throw an advertisement in front of a beautiful song like this.
John Norum is a great guitarist but Billy White is great as well and the unsung 'hero' behind the sound of this entire disc. I wish that they could have done a follow up to this album!!
For the love of God, why in the holy mother of fuck is Justin Bieber's ugly ass face next to the video? Comparing justin bieber to george lynch is like comparing a pile of shit to God.
Wow, are you serious? You flagged my crappy camera phone recording of you playing "Just Got Lucky" live, at some shitty dive, as copyright infringement? Seriously? Do you not have anything better to do with your time? I guess not. Lame!
The idiot below me, john norum fan boy. Just to clarify things, norum did not do all the solos. Look at don dokken videos, billy White plays more solos than norum does. The solos that really rip are done by Billy White. He is just as proficient as lynch. Listen to the whole album. Billy white plays the first solo on mirror mirror, the first solo on the hunger, the solo on when love finds a fool, crash N'burn, Stay, and many others. He also wrote many of the songs with DD .. norum is overrated!
@Steffanberg You need to buy some of John Norums CD and give them a listen. To say Billy White is better is BS.Johns been around alot longer then him.And they shared guitar solo's through out the entire cd.
@Steffanberg Teamed up with someone, John Norum sounded pretty good. Have always wondered if instead he was in a bad team with Europe or had bad production.
@Steffanberg ..honestly I like the combo of the two workin together, like a priest or a maiden, these two were great together....and yes Billy is a straight up badass on the axe, I agree with you.....!!
John Norum is an incredible guitar player.. For those of you who didn't like the cheesy sound of Europe back in the day, pick up their 2-Disc Live From The Dark video instead. They lost the glam look and just freakin rock.. And Norum's guitarwork is topnotch!
wont u stay!!?? still missing u!! lovin u!! can u see my love is waiting here?? do you love me? darling let me know.... saludos desde rioverde slp para todo el mundo rock!!
@perpetual61 Yes, he's back touring with Don in the newest incarnation of Dokken. His material outside of Europe makes me forgive him for "The Final Countdown".
@HairMetalGod1984 Yeah, but remember this isn't Dokken, per say. This is Don with a new band behind him. Their newest stuff is really good, I hope you've checked it out.
Really good song, but Don and George were a better team, they just didnt like each other personaly. The band DOKKEN was more popular than DON DOKKEN, Don Doken was an Asshole, he cared only about himself, I dont blam George why he left DOKKEN same with Jeff Pilson. I would cry tears of joy if George rejoined Dokken, but it will never happen sadly :(
what say just awesome :)))))

You're right- it was Billy that played most...John's badass, but Billy, even better...in Watchtower he was SCARY badass.....
I saw this show in Bogart's - Cincinnatti....it took 2 guitarists to equal ONE george lynch....but they did great jobs, it was an incredible show....
