No, Champions Online has nothing to do with either Marvel or DC. Champions came out well before DCUO and is still far superior in gameplay and character customization in every and all levels.

Champions was basically a City of Heroes 2, many of the creators of CoH left CoH and helped create Champions, which is why there are so many similiarities between those two titles. They used what they learned in making a Super Hero mmo and improved and expanded ideas.

DCUO does not compare.

As far as I know and feel pretty sure, you create you own custom Hero or Villian and you fight along Dc Heroes making a name for yourself. They might hold some special event for you to play as a Dc Heroes but I am not sure.

champions online is same gameplay as COH and COV so if you liek that shit gameplay click on a monster then wait and click numpad to do skills.

In DC universe you can hit anywhere you want you dont need an enemy to click on if the enemy is infront of you just attack you dont need to click him like all other shit games this gameplay is Rakion based mostly but better ofc lol.

What i mean is cas tyour forces anywhere u want and attack anywhere u want awesome gameplay u cant i nchampions-

what could really make this interesting is if the DC characters aren't just AIs but humans who are employed to lead their "faction" and set up goals (less than GMs but more than guild leaders). If it is just a string of PVP instances (joker heist/batman patrol etc), yeah I'd say its just a polished City of Heroes, and I am BORED of this minimax/treadmill crap.

dont know why you got thumbs down, i dont think anyone can deny Marvel are ahead right now, theyve been much smarter in their approach to making movies recently, although Nolans Batman films are good the Superman revamp didnt leave much of an impression on anyone and where are all the other characters, DC just dont seem to be trying very hard with their films at the moment, Marvel need to be carefull on the video games front though look at the recent Hulk and Iron Man games, god they sucked.

To play MMOs with those kinds of graphics. You would either need a very good computer or a game console. I'd prefer not to have to buy a completely new computer so it's either going to be on a PS3 or Xbox360 that I would play this kind of game on, but this game is exclusive for the PS3 and to play it on a 360 would cost the Xbox Live multiplayer fee ($50 already) PLUS the MMO subscription fee that would probably cost about $30 a year (hopefully less). So this game is perfect for the PS3.
