Putting aside the glaring omission of the fact that Cervone conducted NO ACTUAL INVESTIGATION into the matter one still has to wonder about the quality of law enforcement and prosecution in the 8th Judicial Circuit of Florida given Cervone's judgment regarding not only the veracity of this witness but his willingness to jump to much broader conclusions from little more than this.

State Attorney Bill Cervone has stated in writing to the FDLE that he has "no reason to doubt that she [Dixon] was truthful" and that he has "no reason to think that any criminal act occurred in connection with the election."
