I do not consider this to be a pole dance. The pole is there to keep her from "face planting" on the stage. I read posts which state "she pole danced on an ice cream truck". That is an exaggeration, Miley transitioned from from stage right' to left on an ice cream cart and needed something to hang on to. I do not consider "short shorts" to be the best choice for squatting but that's me, I'm sure her fans enjoyed it. I heard no booing, she was really dancing for the audience, not "Tubigans".
