I just wish the final bosses for Mario games were grander. Forget about difficulty. This music demands a huge landscape for the battle to take place. Mario should have been charging after Bowser on Yoshi while the planet crumbled around him.

Oh and the final battle on this game was really easy. I wish Nintendo would make their bosses a lot harder, since I end up beating each boss in like 5 seconds. Just give me a boss to beat and call it done. And why are they called bosses anyways? Why not just enemies. Cause last time I checked, boss was somebody you worked for at work, not somebody evil that you try to pwn.

I think there should be a game called Super Nintendo Universe, where all the villians ever by nintendo team up and make a grand scheme to take over the Universe, then all the heroes ever decide to team up and save the Universe! I know people complain the last boss was too easy, although if they revamp the difficulty people would complain he's too difficult. Also this is the 2nd Mario Galaxy game, and they ignore Tatanga? How the fuck could they ignore that, this is an opportunity to take the one alien boss from Super Mario games and put him here.

The next Galaxy game should have multiplayer,and have Luigi, Peach and Wario and they have to fight all of the Mario villains in an endurance round with this music playing.

seriously there wasn't anything particularly interesting or challenging, except the last part with yoshi which was very brief, and the boss fight was basically exactly the same as the two other bowser fights except for the last 30 seconds tacked onto the end.

This is a great boss theme. I'd like to use it for my tabletop RPG, but the instrumentation doesn't lead to being taken seriously-- particularly the choral people going: "Ya la lalalalala". What I wouldn't give for some faux-Latin chanting in the background. Perfect for Mario. Not so perfect for something I want to pass off as more grown-up than that.

The music got me so pumped during this battle, that I ended up winning in about 30 seconds. It was so epic that I just entered ownage mode and completely destroyed Bowser :P

Well, at least this battle was a little more interesting and unique then in the first Mario Galaxy. That battle was just basically the same thing over and over again. The music is really what makes you want to win, though. It just sounds so awesome and fits perfectly with the final battle!

I hear this, and I think of all the bosses Mario has faced in his life. I see all the major bosses like Smithy, Bowser, Shadow Queen, Cackletta, Fawful, and the Shroob twins joining as a team of villians versus Mario. 0:00-0:38 they are overpowering, 0:39-1:15 Mario gets the upperhand, 1:16-1:40 the villains mentioned put Mario down. Lightning encircles the fighters around 1:20. They keep seesawing until the final blow is struck! How I wish Nintendo would put all of them in one mega game.

it really IS epic! i read in the iwata asks interview, that even the orchestra had there problems playing it (they only got 1 day to practice and record ALL songs). but after 3 tries, they played it like we can hear it.
