this guy is really arrogant and an egomane. I read some articles about his activities to fully commercialize Bikram Yoga and make it a fully controlled franchise. Disgusting and not worthy of someone claiming to be a yoga guru.
@1George2 That is how people in India and many other parts of the world talk and behave. He is not more arrogant than average. Politeness and political correctness are American inventions (nice ones).
@DamnBulletin you are full of crap! average indian (like most asian cultures) is very shy and humble..Bikram is just an arrogant asshole...he does NOT represent the average Indian...he is just a douche making money of his marketing skills....kudos to him for that..but that doesn't make him as great as he claims to be!
@carolinaindian@carolinaindian Your right. He is not the average indian. he is greater than the average indian. he is the average indian living the life of the average american. hence the the place where the resides now. maybe we should blame YOUR type of people for his arrogance???? you piece of shit. get you facts straight. You couldn't do or perform HALF the shit he has to... go away.
@DamnBulletin He's right on. Great that he's confident. Nothing wrong with that. I thank him and what he's shared. I'm a beginner and thank the hell out of him!!!
Respond to this video... did you read articles about the fake "yoga" impostors who claim to be certified Bikram Yoga teachers and open studios, teach bikram yoga (the wrong way), then the MAN himself, Bikram Choudhury, gets in trouble because of a nitwit ass hole who thinks he can teach what this man preaches without learning the real way it should be taught. This is modern day AMERICA brother your clearly missing the point in all of this. so fuck off geroge
He doesn't promise rainbows, he promises results... I can attest to that and I agree that it is important to have properly trained teachers. What is the cost of health, anyway?
Maybe he is arrogant, Mr Popos, but this program is FANTASTIC!! There is nothing I have found that can bring your body to the highest level of good health the fastest. I don't care if he's made the big bucks, he's worked hard for it!! I am grateful for this program. Maybe people who down him are just jealous or something .. for me.. I am just very grateful!!
I study this style of yoga for less than $10 per class 2-3 times per week. $6,000 is a lot of money, but it is 2 months room, board and education. It isn't a community college. Not every student needs to do teacher training.
6000 is actually inexpensive compared to what you get from some of the other teacher trainings of other styles of yoga. You get 9 weeks of intense yoga as well as learn how to teach a 90 minute class. Study anatomy and get exposed to some of the most intense feelings of your life. 10,000 would still be a bargain
It is a great injustice that only trust fund babies can study this form of yoga...It is a gift that should be for the low budget and priveledged alike...Many great teachers don't have 6,000 for the training and never will...
@infinitehipshit Where there's a will there's a way. No excuses! I'm not a trust fund baby, not even close, and I did it. In fact, I didn't meet even one trust fund baby at my training, quite the opposite. I have benefited greatly and it was worth every penny, time and energy. A "great" teacher would not give up because of money or whatever might stand in their way. If you really want something, anything, make it happen! 6,000 It's just a number.
