hey i did everything good. i know cause i read the note the comes out after the "install usb driver" is done. but when i try to open ds3 tool ,it says [ DS3_TOOL.EXE - APPLICATION ERROR ] "THE APPLICATION FAILED TO INITIALIZE PROPERLY (0xc0000135). CLICK ON OK TO TERMINATE APPLICATION ".  And i did it right twice according to the side note after the install driver. the 1st time the side note was successful , only it said machine system must be rebooted at the end. same error on both trys

No light on controller ,Device Mgr shows exclamation point. Tried for many hours to get this working again on my 32 bit Win7 machine and followed every video tutorial I can find. hey I tried doing this on my windows 7 comp and when I get to the install usb driver thing it tells me it cant find the file and to make a new one, aparently I'm not the only one with this problem. So i get on my other computer (XP) and folow the steps but on it the part were i reset it and select Disable Driver Signature Forcement, that option isn't on the list. If u have the problem cannot find the c:\program files\motionjoy\ds3\mijlog.txt­file when u run the Install MotioninJoy driver all u have to do is right click and run it as administrator then the command prompt should come up and say installing driver or something close to that but then after a few secounds windows will ask u if u want to install the driver click the yes option then u should wait till the command prompt disapperas by ITSELF!!........ hope that helps =)

@mrremix101 The answer is not, the only reason why you have to disable the driver signature enforcement is so that it can 'sign' the drivers to make the controller work on ur pc. If you don't want to disable it (sign it) you can do it yourself, you'll need the Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider application. but its better off to stick with the F8 thingy. (32bit) users don't have to do this. only 64bit users.

Hey man, after tethering the DualShock3 to the PC, will that later affect connection between the controller and the PS3...

I've hear about people that try to CHARGE their DualShock3, and also Sixaxis with their Windows PC via USB, and the PC ask them to install "the drivers" for the controller, well they install them, but the them the controller won't work with the PS3...

So, will this affect connection between the PS3 and the DualShock3/Sixaxis??

@bcta302 No it doesn't affect the sync between your ps3 and controller after you do this, and the Sixaxis works when you select the option 3 in the DS Tool you download, which uses sensors drivers. Everything is included in the package.
