You'll grow out of them and realize how formulaic their music is and how meaningless the lyrics are. It's not really your fault, you are just ignorant to good metal. I wouldn't even call this metal because I don't want to insult the genre. Might I suggest a real metal band like Pantera, Candiria, or Protest the hero? Anyways, really listen to the lyrics and say its not BS.
