This game is too fucking hectic, well at least the Beta is. No one uses teamwork, you got guys running everywhere by themselves like it's COD or something, and not to mention that on any video setting the maps are still so fucking bright that everything blends together, so good luck seeing snipers or anything at a distance.
@CursedZebra xbox does not have the "better graphics" at all. Go look at the hardware specs. As in many videos on youtube it's been shown there actually quite on par with each other, They just work differently and xbox so far has been easier to make games for. But game devs are just getting their heads round the ps3 and we're seeing a lot more multi platform and ps3 exclusives out.

I love my ps3 atm just cause it does everything.. has most my favourite games, plays all my blurays, free internet and browser, has a nice design and I prefer the controller because I don't have massive gorilla hands :p

Im not trying to brag or be an ass, but sniping is a good enough or better then any other class. i snipe all the time, like i get like 20ish kills averagely with a sniper and have the most kills in the game. Im only saying this cause you said you get way more points being a medic then the other classes.

Agree with you on the most part, but there's two things I want to point out: 1) the engineer has smg's, VERY usefull for close qaurter which Métro is mostly based on, and the rocket is very effective as well (got a 5-in-1 with the SMAW w00p) and second, you can still be helpfull as a recon, dropping the mobile spawn point and just being plain good with the sniper .. I went 25-6 in a game (defending), only bipod'ing, which I think is pretty beneficial ..
@14mn00b K/D ratio doesnt matter in BF3, i went around healing my team and keeping them alive and got over 4000 points which was the most in the match and i only had about 4 kills...so...
@sachxtrem I agree, but considering the main goal of the defending team is to stop the attacking, I'd say that getting a bunch of kills is pretty helpfull, when defending - I totally agree on the K/D not being important in BF, but hey, it's always awesome with a high one every once in a while :)!
an easy way to get points is to pick up an assault weapon (which gives you the health box) and lay it down, get your weapon back then switch and repeat. Lay the health box all around the map and get points when someone walks over it

Today I played the beta. This is my first BF game. With that said I have cancelled my pre-order of BF3. I will only be getting MW3. I gave it a shot and do not like this game. It reminds me of Homefront. I am a COD player. The graphics are awesome. However I will never complain about camping on Call of Duty again. Camping field 3 should be the name of this game. Sorry to piss people off, but BF3 blows. I tried it. I dont like it. I forgot some people cant handle the truth.

If you are defending and someone arms the objective, Don't rush in and hope that guy who's defending the objective doesn't kill you. Just try it and you'll come around.

@BeepBop990 Battlefield has lots of camping yes, but atleast campers can be dealt with with ease. A simple grenade, RPG, TANK, and even a good sniper can trash campers.
engineer not usefull?!??!? i dont think so, playing the beta in metro i see an endless amount of engineers spamming rpg's, which are super op and rather annoying but super effective!! especially in the confiend spaces that is metro, an rpg spammer can destroy you rather easily!

one awesome thing you can do in battlefield 3 is removing the sights and play it like it was a shotgun or semi auto rifle. It brings a whole new perspective to the battlefield :D

I was using the SV98 sniper on defending side watching over the objectives and went 39-3 that being 39 kills and 3 death my attachments were 12x scope bipod and laser and what was my best killstreak? It was 33 kills along with I think around 2 knifes and 3 pistol kills and I have pictures to prove it :) snipers can be effective if you play for the team

bf3 beta was kind of a screw up to fans if they had released caspian border we would have been wowed better but all in all it has soilid mechanics and those who cancel the preorder are obviously not true battlefield fans my first battlefield game was battleifled 2142 and im pretty sure battlefield is still gonna own cod

Today I played the beta. This is my first BF game. With that said I have cancelled my pre-order of BF3. I will only be getting MW3. I gave it a shot and do not like this game. It reminds me of Homefront. I am a COD player. The graphics are awesome. However I will never complain about camping on Call of Duty again. Camping field 3 should be the name of this game. Sorry to piss people off, but BF3 blows. I tried it. I dont like it. I forgot some people cant handle the truth.

@BeepBop990 i dont blame on the camping thing id said the same. but wat really happened to u wasnt fair bcuz the first bf game u shud have played is bad company 2 ( my first) and is the reason why I LOVE battelfield. i recommend to atleast try tht b4 quitting on battlefield all together. bcuz i played the beta and it sucked too. if u ask me, if it played more like bad company 2 with all the new graphics then.....it....wud...be....PERFECT!!! so please dont give up just yet.

@BeepBop990 Try it again. But instead of just rushing to the objective and hoping that everyone you just ran past doesn't shoot you, take your time. Defenders are MEANT to defend. IF they camp, they are doing their job. If you don't like it, don't just give up and say "fuck this game MW3 ftw lol" Fight! If you are defending and someone arms the objective, Don't rush in and hope that guy who's defending the objective doesn't kill you. Just try it and you'll come around.

@BeepBop990 Battlefield has lots of camping yes, but atleast campers can be dealt with with ease. A simple grenade, RPG, TANK, and even a good sniper can trash campers.

engineer not usefull?!??!? i dont think so, playing the beta in metro i see an endless amount of engineers spamming rpg's, which are super op and rather annoying but super effective!! especially in the confiend spaces that is metro, an rpg spammer can destroy you rather easily!

@seanybhoy140 don't you mean bad company 2 graphics being better. bf 2 was out in 2004 so i doubt youll find that games graphics amazing. also, to be honest i think the graphics are pretty damn good on console compared to most game today, its just a different style to bad company 2 really

one awesome thing you can do in battlefield 3 is removing the sights and play it like it was a shotgun or semi auto rifle. It brings a whole new perspective to the battlefield :D

I dont care who wins the bf3vsmw3 fanboy war. But all i know is im really getting sick of modern military shooter games. I love fps games. But im getting dead sick of military games. Ill stick with rage, skyrim, dark souls, and i have never played a zelda game so im looking forward to skyward sword. I just hate the way the games industry is now. Everyone thinks that there no other besides call of duty. But when they actually play games like gta and various other games they realize cod sucks.

I was using the SV98 sniper on defending side watching over the objectives and went 39-3 that being 39 kills and 3 death my attachments were 12x scope bipod and laser and what was my best killstreak? It was 33 kills along with I think around 2 knifes and 3 pistol kills and I have pictures to prove it :) snipers can be effective if you play for the team
