I am curious to know if you find that the children generally favor you because you are in the home full-time? I am 8 months pregnant and my boyfriend and I will be splitting time with the baby due to our work schedules. I work days, and I worry that as the baby grows and spends more "awake" time with my boyfriend, that I will always be second choice caregiver. Any thoughts?

@lovepeonies5 Mine do favor me the 1st first six months, BIG TIME, not bc I'm the main caregiver but due to me being the only food source & partly bc of the main care giver. Kacen & Peyson screamed anytime Joel neared them the first 6 months. It hurt his feelings so in return he started changing the bilk of their diapers & doing ALL their baths which is when they got play time w/ them too & that helped. Its a short lived time frame though. Jace was part bottle fed & it was half & half w/ her.

@loverc3lover yes, google baltic amber....peyson wears another one that is hazelaid too though so depends on which u see on her as we regularly switch them out, again google but they have a medical purpose.

hey there... wondering how tandem nursing is going... and i have a question. i am 14 weeks now and i dont even want to be hugged too tight... how did u survive those sore weeks of pregnancy?

@MommaBeiler I wasn't that sore to be honest....I think my breast have been some what desensitized through all the nursing & pregnancies as they have never been "out of commission" lol they've been being used basically since May 2007. however I do have a mole on my breast that my son finds comfort out of rubbing & that annoyed me more than ANYTHING while pregnant. Ohhhhhhh it drove me nuts up the wall crazy feeling. beyond annoying ot the point at times I didn't even want to nurse him.

Her laugh is soo cute! And Herky is just a big fiddler, huh? That was cute. Our cat is protective in a different way, if she hears the baby cry she runs over to him and sniffs him, like she's checking to see if he's ok. Its really sweet.

@themendezes Not only does he think he's human but his favorite color is pink! He insist on sleeping UNDER the covers & he'll "pet" & "kiss" you just the same as you would him. It's so cute! Love our kitty.

@Babybeann13 My daughter is three and prefers high chairs as well, it helps her to sit up higher....it seems safer than her sitting on her knees or in a booster sit that isnt securly attached to the chair which is waht most of our restaraunts offer around here anyways.

@mfoiles7 we have a pub table & no boosters we have found fit our chair/table height properly. put we mostly use the high chairs for crafts as it gas a tray I dont care if they get messy or not :)
