I don't think any of the openings top season 2. it starts out normal and pleasant, then everything goes totally nuts. it was so intense and then it just goes through the hatch up until you're looking at Jack, Locke, and Kate with their torches looking down the hatch, it was brilliant!!!
@charbutko Remember seeing bearded, drunk Jack meet Kate at the airport at the end of Season 3? Three yesars after the crash. Season 4 is about how certain people got off the island and what they've been doing in the three years since.
nmbr ones was most epic and numer two started out with desmond in the hatch with that catchy music playing and nmber 3 started with that chick from the others listening to music and in the book club and im still in the middle of season 3
@joshlongley I thought season 2s opening was the most epic. the music plays with desmond doing his thing but when the explosion happens, it all gets totally intense and I just thought the way everything seemed to go haywire was just badass.
@yoyrut10000 yea.. here is something we can agree on even more.. EVERY SEASON IS EXTREMELY AWSOME haha! I love season 4 the most as i said and then probably season 1 but then i honestly cannot choose between 2,3,5 and 6 because they are all so amazing.. season 6 started off a bit slow i felt but then some of the episodes are amazing in the second half of the season.. overall ab aeterno, across the sea, dr linus, happily ever after and the end were all amazing :)
i love how every season opening(except season one) for a while we dont know who we are looking at: desmond s2, juliet s3, jack-hurleys4, dr chang s5, i think it would be jacob or his enemy on s6
Four's opening was good, but I don't think it quite holds up to the other ones. Just seeing the pure chaos in S1, realizing there was a man in the hatch in S2, realizing that there was a freaking village on the island in S4, seeing Faraday in the '70s in S5 (probably my second least favorite), S6 seeing Jack on a flight 815 that didn't crash and seeing the island at the bottom of the ocean.
Regardless of whether you think the FS ruined S6, you gotta admit that was one hell of an opening.
Season 5 = would be the BEST, but towards the middle of the season it lulled However, the beginning and end episodes were outstanding.
Season 1 and 3 = very good seasons. Season 1 was the best with character interactions, and did a brilliant job of setting up the story. Season 3 was also strong and some questions were answered.
Season 4 = still fun to watch, but it is the only season of Lost that wasn't excellent. Some parts were thrown together and rushed.
I think season 2 is best because then you had "got into the show", knew a little about the characters and the island but it were still mysterious. That's why I like it the best. But I disagree with you about season 4, I don't think any of the seasons were bad. For example, when I looked back at season 3 the only thing i could remember was Sawyer, Kate and Jack being prisoners of The Others, them fleeing, and then the survivors trying to turn of the jamming signal and contact the freighter---
But then I remembered that the season also contaided much more, like the characters "quests":Locke saving Mr.Eko, Sawyer gets his long-wanted revenge, Hurley finds the DHARMA van, Nikki and Paulo and their diamonds, Locke and Eko searches for The Pearl, Locke joining the Others, Desmond and his "flashes"... So season 3 were really good after all. And that's what I think of ALL seasons, Season 4 might be short but had the best action IMO, and introduced flashforwards (i'm not counting s3 finale)
Flashforwards and the Oceanic 6, which I thought was very cool and exciting, I always longed to know as the season went on how they became the Oceanic 6. And that's why I liked season 4 except the action; the flashforwards that showed how life was off-island for the Oceanic 6, while at the same time the story went on on-island, which was unique for that season.
its a flash forward for hurley at the finale of season 3 they started showing flash forwards of all the Oceanic 6(the people that got rescued jack, kate, the baby aaron, sun, sayid and hurley
ok i know im a little late but i never got this episode at all, seriously they didnt even get rescued and they're back home but they all know eachother and then they're back in the jungle, what the hell somebody plzz explain???
I agree. I always look forward to seeing the season openers. They had been starting out with music and I really enjoyed that. This opening and the season 5 opening just didn't cut it for me.
I'd like to point out a few things.. 1) The car that Hurley is driving is the car that his father and him were restoring when Hurley was a kid.... 2) The detective who was interviewing him was Anna Lucia's father... 3)The man who is filming Hurley who is Ben Linus..
how/where to watch the real season 4???
can't find it, HELP!

Season 4 has probably the weakest opener, when you consider all the other seasons' openings had a tendency to blow your mind.

Whoever wrote in the script "Hurley begins to run from the cops" should be fired. Give everyone else a raise. Best show eva!!

I am still not clear why he was being chased by 3 cop cars
when he sees charlie at the convinience store/petrol garage
does he leave without paying or just cause accidental damage in his panic
was it ever explained why 3 cop cars are chasing him ??
JeVoudrais12 2 years ago
He ran with out paying, knocked over a shelf, and i guess ran when the first cop car went after him for that, so two more joined the chase.

season 4 was by far the weakest, the best one is the second followed by the fifth, in my opinion

Well at least you got one right, too bad it was painfully obvious, however with the other two you dreamed up, it wouldn't surprise me.
1. Yes.
2. What the fuck? That was Ana Lucia's old partner.
3. Guess again, the man filming him was his and Locke's old boss Randy.
