@BHS201055 No, the wheel was spinning. As long as you see that tire moving the clutch is engaged to the engine and there isn't any slipping between the two. I'm sure it was steaming right up through the wheel wells through the engine compartment.

Ever cross your mind that to run a 16.3 at WOT you'd need to be trapping at LEAST 82 mph, a 73mph trap would equate to an 18 second 1/4mile...The Geo OBVIOUSLY let off at the 1/8th mile and was just coasting.

How do I know?...Because i was the one driving it. Something went wrong with the FMU at the 1/8th mile and I had to get out of it rather than letting it melt a piston had i kept my foot in it.

Actually that motor is being swapped in as we speak. Pulled the 3cyl turbo out, and we're just now finishing up the wiring for the motor. We have upgraded cams and pulleys, and will eventually boost this suzuki motor as well. Thanks for commenting!

this engine has little torque out of the box, but the torque exceeds the hp when boosted, I should know, I run 10psi in my geo. i should turn it down, I trashed one head gasket already :>)

Like I said, very little torque stock. Due to the 9.5:1 compression +intercooled 10psi nearly doubles the torque. I have not taken it to the dyno, but I have seen one metro that went from 55hp and 55torque to 87hp and 115ftlbs torque. Torque is all that really matters in a car, can it pull the gears. i love seeing the ricers that say "I got 260hp in my honda" and they only have 120 or so ftlbs of torque. Crack me up. But I turboed a metro to learn the theory and hone my welding skills.
