  • @Magicmancris 2 beats per chord...just make sure you keep the timing right no matter what strumming pattern you are doing. Check out my video on 7 strumming patterns

  • This is a great tutorial! I would like to make up tabs for some friends of mine so we can play it in our next jam session but what do you call that chord in the pre-chorus that looks like an A with the ring and pinky fingers on the 5th & 6th strings on the 3 fret? It starts with the lyrics "And together we sing". Thank you in advance!

  • awesome!

  • Thank you for posting this video! This is great for beginners like me. I just want to ask if the strumming pattern in chords G, C, and Em is 2 down. Can you please tell me the complete strumming pattern. Thanks a lot!

  • I've got to tell you bro! I have been having such a hard time playing my favorite worship songs, because all of the videos I've watched use chords that are too difficult. Now,, I'm totally hooked to your videos and can praise God with the most simple chords. We are simple minded, so worship should be too! Thanks for all of your help!

  • Keep praising God!! Amen

  • dude, tis video is awesome

  • hey ive been working on this song with the same chords for a few days but im not sure if i have the strumming patten right.. I have (g) down down down (switch to c) up down up down down down up (switch to d) down down down (add pinky finger) up down up down down up then repeat with e instead of g.. is that right? thanks, jennifer btw that was really good :) god bless!

  • that's correct! thanks for the compliments..what i like to do is always error on the side of going to slow until i really get the song down. You have the chords and strumming right. Sometimes it's hard to strum properly and sing at the same time but with a little practice it comes. I'm sure you can nail it as good or better than i did! Good luck with your playing, have a Merry Christmas!
