I think that these nano-bots are mimicking a biological parasites that was cozy in some secluded biome until spread by contact to nearby urban areas. I suspect that these naturally live under the topsoil among mycelium until a wild animal passes by and they can enter paws, hands, bare feet etc. These pictures don't match the 60-200x slides we have been seeing. I think we are seeing concurrent phenomenon--a premature attempt to use nano-bots to combat biological effects of soil disruption.
