I can't describe it, but theres something about Lowe that fits better with Candlemass... Only thing that Messiah sounded best with was the Sabbath medley since he has a Ozzy-esque voice thats more operatic.

this singer reminds me a little of the original one from Epicus... but I grew to love Candlemass from the great and unique sound of "Nightfall"... Messiah is essential to that sound.

Messiah is a very charismatic singer, and he's very recognizable. But seriously, Lowe is better all around. If anything he's underused on this album because it was written with Messiah in the band and with his voice in mind. He can only improve in this band.

He really is dude. I got lucky enough to see Candlemass live back in 2005 during their reunion tour for that album that has "Black Dwarf" on it, when I was making a little trip to Greece. Unbelievable man, Messiah is one hell of a showman.
