Obviously you are not a Tibetan. If you are, you will know that we do not think of ourselves as Indian Tibetan, or Chinese Tibetan, or Americal Tibetan..etc. For us there is only one identity, Tibetan. No matter where we live, we think of ourselves as Tibetan. We would call ourselves as Tibetan living in America and not as American Tibetan.

Actually, although I don't like the CCP and its policy in Tibet,and the racist behaviour of the mainland Chinese to Tibetans, I don't hate Chinese from other countries. I think we Tibetans need to make that distinction clear when we write comments on that matter.

Well,i was born in China..where were u born?tibet?i like tibetan culture, music, buddhsim and so on.how do u know the policy ccp made in tibet?if u r not living in tibet,u cannot claim independence.if tibet seperate from china, it will be poorer and poorer.the railway is directly to lhasa,u think ccp will give up tibet?u can say tibet was not a part of china or it has to be independent.the reality of the world is benefit, because of that nobody will fight for tibet independence except tibetans.

There is some truth in what U say. I guess it is all about profit & no one wants to upset China in favor of us.

But I don't agree about us becoming poorer if CCP left Tibet. Even if we were to become poorer, if that is what we choose rather than to be dominated by China, why should Chinese people care? I think the truth is that it is all about profit for CCP and mainland Chinese.

I have been to Tibet & have regular contacts with my relatives. I hear ugly stories of torture and subjugation
