  • Haha the main character is definitely Jean-Claude van Damme straight outta Bloodsport! Especially when the character raises both arms!

  • One of my favorite Amiga games as a kid... I used to own many different ports of the game and this version managed to have the best gameplay, which is strange (because let's face it - most arcade games ported over to the Amiga were really half-assed/bad thanks to lazy coders and them not having access to the original source-code, like US Gold).

Loved punching ninjas in the face. "Whomp! Derp! Whomp! Derp!", lol.

  • i played this game a lot with my friend :)

  • better than the nes

  • First Reaganomics and then Reagan then presents me with a burger.....I would have flaming punched his ass.

  • all this mess for just an hamburger!??!!? I'd have punched up the president

  • I thought this game was called Bad Dudes? Classic game.

  • 2 people weren't invited to go for an hamburger by the president...

  • and the boss of stage 3 talking owa chichuwa, or this is i understand.

  • the music of second stage is the best, i need this song for my phone, but only the music, not efects.

  • @santi22scr : Owa Hikuwa XD !

  • Whoever came up with that jumping system must have been drunk.

  • I used to play it alot as a child. It was quite a good game, but I could never make it past the fifth level because of the dodgy jumping. I could never figure out how to jump over the carriages without losing one life each time. Even if u did figure it out u have to be pixel perfect or else u will fall. Sometimes its just impossible to avoid taking damage from the ninja stars coz of the crap jumping.

  • BAD DUDES... vs. DragonNinja! AWESOME.

  • OMG how disappointed is the dragon ninja after all that?! a hamburger?! no wonder he looks like he's about to jump off the bridge.

  • @LostAtSe

I thought it looked more like he was throwing up. Damn presidents and their choice of eating establishments

  • how was an 9 year old meant to complete this? honestly...

  • There's a game similiar to this but it's two shirtless guys and it's like a co-op shooter like sunset riders.

  • OH MY GOSH! I remember this from back when I was a kid. :) Thanks for the upload.

  • 0:19 Duke Nukem ?

  • PRESIDENT RONNIE: congratulations I am free... let's go for an hamburger!

    SUCK ON THAT OBAMA!!

  • "dragon ninja" ... that's just taking the piss..

also notice the bespectacled secret agent with the typewriter voice.

  • HOW do you jump forward in this game????

    could never figure it out!!!!

  • Is it just me or does he sound a little like Eric Cartman from the South Park episode where he enters the speciel olympics?

  • lol duke nukem at the beginning yo!

  • wow the sprites look better than the NES version, if only they made him say "Im bad" instead of just a grunt

  • With the "trainer" are all good ...

  • i love the way the ninjas easily outrun the speeding truck in the second level. Our guy mayaswell have just walked alongside the damn thing rather than surf the top of it.

  • this is superior to the every other version (cept arcade obviosly) exept one respect from the nes version. i like the music and sound effects way better in that version. also in this version they don't say "i'm bad" at the end of the level they just grunt which is pretty stupid.

  • ужос, этож сега вылитая, а орёте шо крутая машина.

  • those were the days, Amiga in its good years

  • Yeah I think this is a rather good conversion. Fast, lots of sprites on screen at once and it actually resembles the arcade quite a bit. Very playable. I got real close to finishing it but could never quite get to the chopper!

  • DÖ!

  • Dö! muhar!

  • looks OK but that music... sounds like some idiot toying with some midi samples on his home keyboard...

  • UA! TEH!! PUH PUH! TEH! End.

  • Amiga version is cool

  • This isnt a bad conversion for the Amiga.

  • Mr. Reagan: "I told you not to call me Ronnie!"

  • Comment removed

  • @lemurboy12 you wish it was

  • They don't yell I'm bad at the end of the level! Shit conversion.

  • That was a wierd ending compared to the arcade or nes endings.

  • My favourite coin-op. 10p a blast at Blackpool Central Pier. Could never get passed the truck trailer boss on arcade. But managed to make it beyond on the Amiga. I also, could not jump gaps. I used to 'round-house' to jump them.

  • GOOD version hellyeah

  • Hipoonios, how do you get MUSIC in this game ?

under winuae it doesnt work, also, how do you jump ?

  • Bad Dudes was originally released in Japan for the arcades simply as DragonNinja.

  • Nice duke nukem is in this game! haha right there at the beginning.

  • Both characters are based on the Terminator.

  • I had a pirated copy of this game and could never figure out how to jump forward. I was usually pretty good at figuring out games without the instructions, but this one had me stumped.

  • My very first game for the Amiga. Quite a very good conversion: for the time it was nearly arcade perfect and had a couple of improvements like the multi-parallax scrolling on the second level. The only problem with it is that the original coin-op got boring quite soon...

  • Not one of the amiga's finest moments...

  • "Lets go for an hamburger" Fkn lols even after 17 years since i played this game

  • I AM FREE, HAMBURGER TIME!

No..I must go to the waterfront and drink my sorrows away, Mr. President.

    XD.

  • LOL

wtf is that noise he makes?!

    "DHUUR!"

he sounds like Timmy from South Park!

    xD

  • LOL. I like how you handle the bosses. :)

  • Holy shit, there it is.

I've been wondering where the hell the "Are you a bad enough dude to X the Y" joke came from.

  • The Amiga version's ending with the Bad Dudes statue is the same ending of the Japanese arcade version simply titled "Dragon Ninja", except the Japanese arcade version didn't say anything about eating hamburgers.

  • My brother liked to play in this game, when he was in Canada in 1989 year.

  • It will be interesting if would who will make this game with next-gen technologies. Because now moda on retro(street fighter).

  • Is this me or does the Amiga version of the second level theme sound kind of like a prototypical Mega Man X/Rock Man X song? Seriously, they should do a mix of the NES version and this version of that level. Do you not think that would rock, folks?

  • Theres a level on Castelvania IV which sounds linds like this thats what I always remembered, (think its the one with the cogs flying everywhere). Good conversion though for the Amiga and it always makes me laugh when I hear his power punch... Hwatt.. Noooo, sounds like hes got a cold :)

  • Well, i just went through all the castlevania IV tunes on deliplayer and even though it reminds me of this tune (stage 2) its in fact nothing like it lol.

  • Yeah! NInja with converse sneakers!

  • Wish I grew up to be a ninja.

  • Gotta love the Red Ninja who always brings you presents!

  • The Hot Punch!!

and yes.. the nunchuks were worth holding on to. Loved the music and the crazy bosses!

  • i was 5...

  • i could never jump diagnally in this game :/

  • "Congratulations I'm free. Let's go for an hamburger"! :D Worst!

  • actually, this is a pretty good conversion for its time. this came out in late 1988 and was quite faithful to the original, keeping the two player mode, and in certain parts it was even better (the parallax scrolling in level two, for example)

  • isn't this bad dudes????!!!!

  • i was addicted to this

  • i hated this game, at the age of 8 it just seemed impossible.

  • Yeah, i had the same problem :P

  • okay i loved this game, but i still, to this day, dont know the controls to jump from trailer to trailer! someone please tell me hot do you jump sideways!

  • A lot of early amiga games were rubbish and didn't make use of the machine as this game proves.

  • I played this so much in 1990!

In the arcades I only needed one credit to complete it with a bunch of kids watching.

    Sad!

  • Corny to the extreme, but brings back alot of awesome memories. Good stuff.

  • Is it me, or do these ninja girls have bigger breasts on Amiga?

  • Me and my brother played the crap out of this...even though we never completed it..doh!

  • ....................................

  • Dodgy animation...

  • man a city fill with billion same ninjas. scary isnt?

  • Ninjas kidnapped the President, now thats a headliner !

  • lol

  • Just like skinheads kidnapped Madonna in the game Vigilante.

  • The Best

  • oh man, i had this for the nes and loved it, but this version seems a lot better since more detailed colors and two player mode at the same time

  • are you a bad enough dude?

  • Dragon Ninja is Data East's answer to Double Dragon 1987 arcade game

  • the blond guy at the beginning explaining your mission is Duke Nukem!

  • The beginning commentary (lack of a better word) never made any sense to me

  • I still have this game and still works on my A600 eheh! Awsome.

  • what is with all the ninjas running circles around moving trucks and trains, jumping onto them as if they were standing still?

  • They're Ninjas. That stuff comes natural to them. Ninjas defy gravity.

  • @Gr8Dane78

Not these ninjas. They could not jump forward.

  • @Gr8Dane78

Not these ninjas. They could not jump forward.

No idea how this guy pulled it off, there was no direction to push and button to hit to make these tards jump forward. Thus we never got past the train level.

  • This plays and looks just like Shinobi, wasn't there a connection or something?

  • I don't know if there was to Shinobi, but there is to Karnov.

  • wow, good old times..... :)

  • My first game on the Amiga....

  • How do you do the forward jump? I thought it's not possible in the Amiga version and you had to resort to the roundhouse kick instead?

  • I just laughed when I saw the final boss. The master ninja who happens to chuck fireballs from a helicopter!? The only reason he caught the president in the first place is because he's an idiot and only has one leg.

  • This, along with Ninja Warrior, were the best ninja games on the Amiga.

  • Yeah, this guy sounds like a real brain-donor! "D-eh! D-eh!" He may be tough enough to rescue President Ronnie from the ninjas, but he's sure not smart enough!

    JR

  • Jesus, look at all the freakin' ninja on the sceen!!! Anyways, great run!!

  • HAW!? HAW!? Not "I'M BAD!" but... "HAW!" !?!??!
