  • verry nice , you got I want..

  • theyre about $730 ish

  • I plan on buying the Taurus model 608 magnum with the 8 shot!

  • Love the grips and unfluted cly!

    Very classy!

  • Nice S&Ws you got there!

Here in Switzerland is only one gun shop at the moment that sells one... without a price, they just tell you to contact them :-D

I guess these will become collectables.

  • @schubidubap they already are...depending on where you are and how rare or not rare they are

  • Those are beautiful. I think the cylinders are cool looking. /John

  • very beautiful guns

  • That lower one is gorgeous! .... but both are sweet!

  • WOW BEAUTIFUL GUNS!!!

  • you can get the president version for about 1200 much better

  • I'm looking to replace my 686-6 plus grips with grips like yours. Do you know what type of wood was used for those grips? B E A UUU TIFUL

  • Why would they sell a different model only for overseas?

  • @Shinerbop Good question that's something I'm trying to figure out.

  • @Shinerbop

Because in europe - when it comes to revolvers (Rossi and Taurus sucks...) - a lot of people trust the american ones. And with a special edition, S&W can squeeze more money out of the buyers.

  • Beautiful

    Five Stars!!

  • Hello everyone I bought one of these when they first were available in Australia. They are a very nice 686 that were born in the SW Performance Centre and hence are slightly more accurate and maybe desirable than a normal 686. It will outshoot me any day of the week!

  • The cheapest price I can see for a new International Dx here in Australia is Au$1685. The standard 686 new retails for Au$1265. Check out rpg firearms sales in Aus for pics. You can do the currency conversion to get Us$ comparisons. Regards.

  • The Smith & Wesson 686 International DX was sold in many countries. I know for a fact they are sold here in Australia where I live, personally seen one myself at a dealer. The information regarding them only being sold in Europe is incorrect. Nice revolvers in any case!

  • Also, what is the dash series? This will tell you how old the gun is. If you open your cylinder, engraved in the frame it should say 686-something. My 686 is a 686-5, which means it is the sixth revision of the gun (there was no 686-0) This can give you a rough estimate of the age of the gun. If you post your dash number I can find you an estimate of its age.

  • Oh man ... really awesome! I like them both! 5 stars of course! :)

  • How much those cost ???

  • I'm sure its a lot.
