Just to update this vid now that GT5 has been out a few weeks for the PS3. Forza 3 has been patched a few times now, and it just keeps getting better. I love this game. I cannot wait until fall 2011 when Forza 4 drops! GT5 cannot hold a candle to Forza 3. And Forza 4 will be the one to really kill GT5 and bury it.

Why wouldn't you use the left foot for the brake?

You can't switch legs between gas and brake fast enough to avoid a crash when you're racing at 200 km/h rigth behind someone.

Atleast that's my personal view. You always know when to switch gears but braking is a bit more unpredictable.

This is a pretty decent game.., but it has problems. Graphics are wasted IMO because T-10 jacked up the color balance and saturation levels. Many cars have non-functional dashes. Cockpit views are a huge disappointment. When using the analogue controller there is a steering assist that cannot be turned off. Lighting is really bad on several tracks (some so bad you can hardly see the track as it's a bright white haze). There are other problems I haven't mentioned too.

What is up with the BS? Forza 3 is no racing simulator, At all. And i will tell you why, Through out your highlighting of this game, you forgot to mention forzas Massive catastrophic failure, The infamous active steering aid, That can not be turned off.

Great review as always... However, I don't understand why Forza 3 is ranked so high, I honestly prefer GT5P physics... Also, the cockpit view is quite low quality in Forza.. No windscreen etc.. just feels unrealistic.. plus Forza 2 physics and sound seem to be better than FM3.. Just my Honest opinion.

have changed my opinion completely... Physics is definitely the most important. I cant even play need for speed shift.Forza 3 clearly has better physics but not the greatest presentation or feeling of speed.

When you think about it, like how much the road passes you depending on your speed, Forza 3 is actually pretty accurate. I just think that they concentrated on a 3 screen setup feature for sense of speed.

I guess GT5 might combine both. Not as dramatic as NFSS and more dramatic than Forza 3. Grid still has decent physics with feeling of weight. I have both the G27 and Fanatec 911 for 360 but, im use the 27s pedals. Gave up playing on pc with all the patches and other upgrades. More racing less configuring. Looking foward to your review of GT5...... still not wearing those driving booties!

GT5 sounds are amazing, They actually use the Doppler effect.. Which is impressive in a console game.

I dont know if they fired the old sound crew, But Man GT5 sounds good... Especially the burble and pops of the JGT cars..

Ill just say, the GT5 updated STI WRX WRC car sounds like the Subaru in this video.

He looks like he is a pretty badass drive. To the guy that said he sucks, have you ever used the Fanatec wheel? I own it. bought it 2 months ago, it is hard to get used to, UNLESS you have a vehicle that is a 4-5-6 speed. I have a 1997 dodge dakota that is a 5 speed, and it fitted just perfect for me. He is a good driver. Don't be a jealous asshole because you don't have a fanatec.
